Yeah, I thought so too at one time. Hitler masqueraded behind the cloth of Catholicism. When I finally got around to reading Streicher and followed Himmler's obsession with racial mythology (which apparently Hitler mightily approved), my eyes were metaphorically as big as saucer plates for a couple of days at least.
