ALIEN: By contrast, an "alien" is generally understood to be a foreigner -- a person who comes from a foreign country -- who does not owe allegiance to our country.

All of us on this Board (with the exception of Ringel, who is an American Indian) are descended from immigrants. The Jews, from both Europe and the Middle East, were legal immigrants. And an independent "country" of Palestine did not exist at that time, so the matter of allegiance was irrelevant.
Europeans invaded a country with the intent to colonize it from another continent and evicted the rightful inhabitants. Bullshit that has been proven false many times Now, the indigenous people want their land back and they have become the majority (and growing) in the lands controlled by Jews. invading Arabs aren't the indigenous people, nor did the land belong to them for 700 years. Colonial projects that are unable to achieve a majority position population-wise have not been successful in the past and there is no reason to believe that it will be successful in Israel's case.

You should tell that to the Arab Muslims who have invaded and colonized all of the Middle East throughout history and are attempting to do the same in Israel.
Of course the Christians and Muslims of Palestine are the indigenous people. Changing religions doesn't change one's ancestry. LOL
As far as invading and colonizing let's see what the Zionists themselves say.

"Successful Jewish Colonization Will Extend Beyond Palestine Frontier, Weizmann Tells Actions Committ
July 25, 1926
“Due to the success of our colonization work in Palestine proper, it is possible that eventually our colonization work will be extended beyond the frontiers of Transjordania. It is true that the Palestine government has not taken a clear stand in regard to its economic policy, but well founded demands have every prospect of being agreed to. A great deal has been achieved during the last months,” Dr. Weizmann said.

When you say "indigenous people", do you mean from the beginning of time? Because, contrary to popular myth, they aren't descended from the ancient Canaanites. Israel was just one of many countries conquered by the Arabians. Then there were the Crusades. The area of "Palestine" was constantly being replenished by nomads from Arabia, so it wasn't even a one-time invasion in the 7th century either. So the "Palestinians" are not the descendants of Canaanites who converted to Islam or even Christianity over the years.
YAY... Let's give it back to the Canaanites.... Problem sorted!
