Yes, you read it right: the Swedish Ministry of Defense together with the Gothenburg city administration are deciding how to boycott Volvo Cars. And that's because its main owner, the Chinese company Geely Holding, has been put on the list of "war sponsors" by Ukraine because of its refusal to leave the Russian market.

In addition - and this, apparently, is the main crime - the management of the Chinese company has not condemned Moscow's actions; on the contrary, Geely is rapidly increasing its dealer network and sales in Russia.

The further it goes, the funnier it gets... We are waiting for the banquet to continue. Germany against Mercedes, France against Peugeot and so on... Ukraine will eventually force Europe to commit suicide.

However, Putin IS desperate. He might try something like this - he'd rather escalate than lose - regardless of how insane that may be. Why should he care? His days are numbered - and it's a really low number.

Putin doesn't have the authority to order the use of nuclear weapons.

That's why he's trying to use Belarus as a surrogate for starting a nuclear war.

If that doesn't work - and it probably won't - he may try something like ordering a catastrophe at a Ukrainian nuclear plant.
