Let's all take time to remember that is was 40 years ago yesterday that a coalition of mighty Arab armies attacked Israel on their highest of holy days only 6 years after suffering a humiliating defeat in the 6 day war.

Let it be said and acknowledged; the Egyptians fought very well, it was no cake walk for Israel, at all and in the overall scheme of things, that was what helped lead to the peace.
