Curious about Guno's post I took a look at Mississipi's stats in various locations. Looking for a mapped area of where infant death is high I came across the one at this website;

If a disadvantage is created for many by a few a diversion generally begins to lead the trail into another direction.
Health effects overall throughout the country that are more prevalent and evident in the southern states are being blamed on one thing here and another thing there when it is another thing altogether that desires to stay hidden. That which desires to stay in the shadows can create diversions by putting out presumptive causes; even using taxpayer grant money to do so.
