Just to keep you all updated
Wrexham kicked off the season with a solid draw against last seasons play off team Dover.

In truth we were second best for much of the game and were probably lucky to hang on. Wrexham boasted 9 new faces and it will take a while for the new boys to settle in.

On the plus side the game attracted a bumper crowd of 5600 and the new Wrexham beers and pies were launched. The new dining facility was a sell out and our near neighbours Chester were well beaten 3-0 at Gateshead. The bonus being that all 3 Gateshead goals were scored by former Wrexham players.

I wouldnt bother watching the vid.We were shite.

We are the oldest club in Wales.Founded in 1864 when Custer was still running round.
Wrexham is a small town where the football team consistently out performs and has put us on the map.
We have beaten,Arsenal. FC Porto, Spurs, Villa,West Ham, Leicester City, Newcastle,Sunderland, Southampton, in fact most of the premiership.
About 10 years ago some clever chaps realised that the ground being developed would make more money than actually playing football on it.
It ignited the fanbase to defend the club.

Since 2011 the club has been owned 100% by the fans through a co-operative society. Every fan has a share and voting is democratic. We are two or three divisions below where we should be but the long road back has begun. The best is yet to come.

Never heard of them or any of the other teams for that matter. I thought soccer drew bigger crowds than 5000. High school football and basketball games can draw larger crowds than that.

The games come thick and fast.
A great win at Guisley last night courtesy of a last minute winner.
3-2 to the town and next up is a trip to Aldershot on Saturday.

A last minute winner never happens for us and I am buzzing today. Strange how sport has that effect on you.

A big treat for our fans across the world. Our game at Dagenham today will be broadcast live across Europe by BT Sports.
It hasnt been a great start for the mighty reds with the 5 fixtures to date yielding 2 wins,2 draws and one defeat.
Hopefully we can improve on this when we visit the backward third world town of Dagenham, a place where tourists can be recognised because they dont have tattoos on their necks.
You should be able to get a decent "stream" to watch this feast of footie.
Kick off is at 12:15 UK time.

C'mon the Town !!!!!!!!!!!
