In addition, it's hard to claim that Democrats were "shoo-ins" in the 15 Republican seats in the Virginia House of Delegates that they flipped - including quite a few seats that had been Republican for decades.

Due to the demographics, such as increase in govt workers (thanks to Hussein Obama) and a huge influx of Latinos and minorities, Virginia has become a solid blue state.
