Everyone has heard the term "woke" but very few people can actually define it & even less can see beyond the social justice & equity propaganda/indoctrination to recognize what it's true goals are.
For most, whether the view is positive or negative, it is a sort of abstract term that they may equate to certain actions or words but then would struggle to see the connections when presented with the seemingly diverse but actually interconnected movements that have the wokester agenda behind the wheel.
CRT, transgenderism/LGBFJB+/BLM/I'mtafa militants, climate changers, black nationalists, affirmative action, cancel culture, statue topplers & name changers are all just branches of the same woke limb growing from the collectivist tree.
They are connected by the concept of "intersectionality" of groups supposedly being forever oppressed by the dominant segments of society (white people) that join forces to fight the claimed injustice.
I'd define it something like:
A cult-like ideology of collectivist grievance/envy that attacks the nuclear family, Western Judeo-Christian society & morals, biological genders, energy production & individual freedom.
At it's center, it is all about rebellion against present morals while it attacks & infiltrates the institutions of society that are claimed to hold back the always-just-around-the-corner global Utopia.
Once these institutions are subverted, they become powerful tools for the usurpers to claim legitimacy & standing to coerce/force society to accept the new normal of discrimination & hardship masquerading as "social justice".
It is a totalitarian ideology with an ends justify the means mentality of convert or else.
If you agree with their agenda, you are part of the protected class but only in a hierarchy of standing based on how many grievances you can claim (intersectionality).
If white, Christian straight males are at the lowest point (actual racism), then something like a Muslim tranny dude/girl might be at the top of the wokester totem pole & therefore more deserving of making the decisions.
If you disagree, you are marginalized as a heretic and ostracized as just one of the "others" that are holding back the always promised progress towards a more "equitable" society where everyone is free to do exactly as told by the protected classes.
This conditioning allows formerly rational people to justify the totalitarian steps necessary to forcefully convert or destroy those perceived heretics while still maintaining the comforting delusion they are the good guys.
Humans are sorted out into sub-collectives by their degree of arbitrarily defined “privilege.” The white female feminist outranks a white straight male but ranks below a black female. The male who publicly identifies as a woman is now “Trans” and now outranks the hetero-feminist and the lesbian. Competition within these victim groups is intense. One class whose status is inviolate is African American. Attempts by others to identify as “Black” and the very idea of “Trans-Race” are laughed out of the room.
“NO!!!” will shriek the Woke. “We can’t be racist!! We’ve redefined “racism” to mean not us!”
ANSWER: “Bullshit! Who cares what your private language says? ‘Racism’ has a factual meaning.”
“NO!!!” will shriek the Woke! “That dictionary definition was written by White Supremacists!”
ANSWER: “Bullshit. Facts are facts, and reality is.”
“NO!!!” will shriek the Woke. “Facts and reality are defined by the dominant group as an instrument of white supremacy! We reject those facts and reality.”
ANSWER: “Bullshit! Your rejection of truth and fact doesn’t mean they go away. I reject your attempts to pervert them to gain power.”
“NO!!” will shriek the Woke. “Submit to us, or we will destroy you.” ANSWER: you grimly smile and say, “finally, you speak truth.”
And then you either submit or prepare to fight because they will indeed try to destroy you. There’s no compromise, no middle ground.
