There are millions of Americans, who have sound minds and are working. But considering the cost of healthcare has risen much faster than wage growth, many hard working Americans can't afford healthcare insurance.

Why not have a system of better accounting for it all, and make it more transparent in that every tax payer knows how bad they are being hit in their wallets for the huge problems that exist beneath the surfaces in it all ???? Have you ever thought about how those emergency room cost are being paid for and by whom they are being paid by ??

The emergency room is best desired by those who want to be separatist, because the bottle neck conditions there causes some hundreds of thousands to then go without medical services due to the hellish conditions experienced in those tiny little over packed situations where people are usually literally dying when they arrive at the facility. So I ask you people, is this just another method of population control the same as abortion and/or other methods used to control the turn over in populations in America ???

Using the emergency room analogy is not a good strategy or talking point when it comes to being or attempting to show compassion for the medical conditions of our citizens whom we as a nation must take responsibility for as a nation. If don't want an over run of citizens in the population, then stop the government from promoting it, and funding it at the front door, only to try and hide it all while running out of the back door once the damages are done.

Otherwise are they totally reliable outside of governments role in protecting the people from such bad stuff?

The government is supposed to be our defense against foriegn enemies inside and outside the nation, and when charities go bad, we must be protected against them as well. The government is supposed to be our last line of defense after things go bad, and our first line of defense before things go bad if caught in that way.

here's my plan: everyone's gotta be covered, this is an unconservative thing for me to say. a lot of times they say no no the lower 25 percent that cant afford private, but i would cover everyone, i dont care if it tanks my popularity on here, the government pays for it, but we save so much money on the other side. for the most part, its a private plan, but people go out and negotiate private plans with lots of competitors and they can have their doctors they can have their plans they can have everything

Why should employers be the ones responsible for supplying healthcare plans for Americans ??? This shouldn't be the case at all in America.

Worked for a company that because of it's very business it is in, there was a higher incidence of health issues caused by the industry worked for. Because of this the private insurance carrier charged this particular industry higher rates to it's employees for the healthcare plans offered way cheaper to other industries not subjected to the same conditions.

Ok, so the money being paid to the employee's are the same amount as other industries or among industry standards, yet because of the nature of this business the healthcare plans were way higher if work in this industry verses another ? It's not right, and it wasn't right.

Most employers already provide medical/dental/vision, benefits for employees and have been doing so for many years. Benefits are a great carrot to draw and keep good employees.


I have been thinking about this today and may have come up with something, but it would require those who can work to get a job and have a yearly
checkup...…..Health Savings Accounts. You deposit say 10% of income & employers match it? It's for any & all medical care until your death. No need for Medicare at retirement. Employers would save a lot of money with this than paying the price for medical/dental/vision/etc benefits they provide. Upon your death, any remaining funds goes for your immediate family's HSA. You would have the choices of what type of care you wanted......standard medical care, homeopathic, nutritionalist, chiropractic, herbalist, acupuncture, etc

Medical costs should drop for lack of paper shuffling for insurances and there wouldn't be any unnecessary tests, procedures, RX's, appts, etc. Doctors would treat whatever problem you have instead of treating the symptoms and referring you to someone else, unless it's needed.

There are some drawbacks of course...….

It wouldn't work as well if you are unhealthy(disease/illness) or in an accident or serious injury when you're young & just starting to pay in, unless you have a close relative that recently passed away leaving you their unused account.

And if put into place in the next few years...….it's not going to work for older Americans.

And there would have to be enough jobs to employ everyone.


IDK I'm sure there are other pros & cons to the idea, but it could work
