The money that is donated to politicians (and yes, the GOP gets union money too, dipshit) is AFTER it is earned so the workers can do what they want with their money and you should just STFU about it. If union workers do not want to have union dues going to politicians then they have a legal right to withold that portion of their dues. And many do.

If you went to college you really should ask for your money back. It was a waste.

Hmm, reality is the teachers ain't losing their jobs or getting a cut in pay without this, yet most Americans get that wonderful luxury. Why is it the privet sector gets to have wages diminished and jobs lost but the teachers get to be part of the reason "rich people" need higher taxes? Prices should fall during recessions, thanks to Government minds like FDR prices go sky high.

A recession or even a depression is not a bad thing if it's left to happen naturally. Recessions and Depressions are bad when Government gets in the way. These hard times allow companies to downsize, look at costs and liquidate the bad assets and come back much stronger and secure in years to come... Oddly, public workers (teachers in this case) can keep failing horribly (not all of them) at their job, produce horrible students and there is never a carving out of the problem teachers because there is no competition.

It's a flat out shit system we have with Unions today. They steal money from tax payers and have some of the worst standards for their employees. The left supports Unions because they donate millions upon millions... If the Unions decided that they would start donating tens of hundreds of millions to Republicans campaigns to keep the corruption rolling I'd bet anything you would be right here screaming about how fucked up Unions are.
