Yeah, it is becoming readily apparent over the last century, that the founders should have made that tenth amendment several 100 pages long, explicitly outlining all the areas of rights and freedom reserved for the State and the people. Politicians are like teenagers. Unless you specifically spell it out for them the rules, they will take any small license, and go with it.

This is why the Left needs control of the Federal Government!

What happens when LEFTIST states impose their Shang-ri-La on their citizens? Well, they move to other states to escape their former states confiscatory, and regulatory, ignorance! People in America vote with their feet!

So the solution to the Left is--------->gain control of the Federal government, put in Leftist judges, then impose their will from Washington, then you can NOT run from their edicts unless you are willing to run to another country.

If Trump wins in November, we will be safe from this for at least 10 years, unless the Left tries to pack the Supreme Court by adding judges ala FDR.

If he loses, the Supreme Court will flip as soon as Thomas retires or dies. States rights will mean NOTHING, and everything will be decided from Washington, and that is why this election is sooooooo important for both sides.

You do know that the main resource needed for the Green New Deal is Lithium?
