Why Trump is Right on California Wildfires

I was watching the head of the Firemans union on TV in California. He said Trump making these comments casting blame when people are dying it completely inappropriate. And he said he was so angry when he first spoke that if he had it to do all over again he would say exactly the same things.

He said first of all, these fires are on federal lands. So stop blaming California. California doesn’t manage these lands where the fire started. They are federal lands. Managed by the federal government.
———-
He could’ve set a lot more. We know the budget was cut because Republicans need that money to give to billionaires. Everywhere you look where budgets have been cut the money went to tax cuts for billionaires. And Republicans on the USMB think that’s so fantastic. All those needy billionaires we helped out because they’re going to create jobs. Even though we have 7.1 million jobs now. More jobs than people looking for work.

So yeah let’s blame everything on California. Republicans think that works. Blame blame blame. Blame California, blame the Mexicans, blame the caravan, when the only people you can really blame are Republicans who are just fuking this country up from one end to the other.
Awwwwww! Like YOU care about impropriety, yet call him a NAZI.. YOU ASSWIPES REALLY ARE ENTERTAINING!

As huge wildfires continued to devour forests, homes, and businesses across California over the weekend, President Trump lashed out at the destructive, deadly policies long pushed by environmentalists that set the stage for the Golden State’s now-routine fiery catastrophes.

“There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor,” President Trump tweeted Nov. 10 at 3:08 a.m. “Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”

On Nov. 11 at 4:40 a.m. he followed up with: “With proper Forest Management, we can stop the devastation constantly going on in California. Get Smart!”

In-between the two tweets, Trump used Twitter to urge people in the affected areas to “evacuate quickly,” praised the “[m]ore than 4,000” who are fighting the Camp and Woolsey Fires in California, and to express sympathy for the fire victims.

Idiot celebrities and clueless politicians weighed in across the fruited plain, eager to attack Trump.

“This is an absolutely heartless response,” singer Katy Perry naively tweeted. “There aren’t even politics involved. Just good American families losing their homes as you tweet, evacuating into shelters.”

California Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom (D), a strong supporter of the no-growth economic policies that caused the deadly fires, tweeted:

SNIP....

Although some may have found President Trump’s tweets about the poor quality of forest management in California jarring or ill-timed, that doesn’t change the fact that the evidence is on his side!

You’re quoting atheist Ayn Rand?
And?

All Union Bosses are like that. But the union members arent. I posted the text from my brother who is retiring over this. He, like me, has been union all his life. H is a committeeman and I am a steward. And the biggest problem we have is fielding calls from the rank and file over why their leaders are pro-democrat.

You never spoke to a fireman rdean. Or a union member. You choose the elite union bosses who make 400,000 a year and never go to a fire.

Disgusting.

You are a liar rdean. You are the party of billionaires, and muli-national corporations..and Silicon Valley..and Hollywood. Your party has the billionaire vote locked down and you could no more lose Beverly Hills than you could lose the Upper West Side.

People are dying, losing their homes and their livelihoods and the brutish Trunp and his minions are punitive rather than supportive.
No surprise there since Trump is heavy on playing favorites.
It's clear he wants to be the president his base wants, but not the president of the United States.
Seems that the last 1/2 community agitator only appeased his base and put most of the middle class into poverty. Stop trying to change the fucking subject, typical of liberals and stay on subject that those who vote for liberals to run their lives, usually ruin their lives in the worst way.. Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, Harlem, now all of Californication...

What'aboutism. The last refuge of the intellectually incurious.

This was Trump being stupid & not realizing that 60% of the forested land in CA happens to be Federal & 1/3rd is privately owned,.

So why does CA even have a Bureau of Land management?

As Ayn Rand put it: "You can evade reality, but you cannot evade the consequences of evading reality."

This is truly bi-partisan. California generally elects Republican governors.

Have you heard my idea for cutting down on natural event welfare? First time an earthquake, tornado, hurricane or fire hits your home you are eligible for disaster aid. We'll come save you from mother nature, put you in FEMA homes, whatever.

Second time, its a predictable event and capitalism says "good luck", no federal aid.

Thats a stupid idea. Forests can be managed so that this doesnt happen.

Step 1 kill all the liberals
step 2 manage forests scientifically and for the benefit of humans

the Fire began on Federally protected land, NOT the state of California's.

ANY so called ''green policies'' you are bitchin and moaning about do not apply to federal land.... the state of California is only responsible for fighting the fires on the federal land, in an agreement between the two....

As Ayn Rand put it: "You can evade reality, but you cannot evade the consequences of evading reality."

This works in every and all situations...eventually. The only place it breaks down is when liberals are allowed to charge other people for their own mistakes. Most of our problems could be solved by simply saying "if you want it then you pay for it".
But thats why the Federal Empire exists..to take money from those who do the right thing and give to those who do the wrong thing. Keeps the second class voting for the DC congress critters who do the handing out.

You know most our wildfires are called "wildfires" not forest fires because it's chaparral burning, not trees, right? Ever been in a Santa Ana?
