I would be against the amnesty, but I have some good friends that were here illegally for quite a while. So, I guess thinking of it that way, I kind of have a change of heart.

As to mass deportations being nazi-like... I will have to agree. Just because that one thing would be nazi-like wouldn't make us nazi-like in every aspect. Rounding up certain people is nazi-like. Gassing people is nazi-like. Wearing swastikas (sp?) is nazi-like. Marching around like nazi soldiers marched is nazi-like. The distinction is that if I march around like those nazis did, that makes me nazi-like in that aspect, but does not equate me with Hitler.

Mass, do you know the meaning of the word? Mass deportation is what you and your compatriots are endorsing. Yes we do deport now, we deport CRIMINAL ILLEGALS. As for the rest of your post it made zero sense.

Ok you all are getting way too sensitive about NAZI. The act of mass deportations and roundups would be a NAZI like act, it would not neccessarily make anybody the equal of Hitler. One would have to do a few more vile things to earn that distinction.

Because it would breakup families and generations with no regard to compassion or civility just like the Nazis did with the Jews, they seperated children from parents and grandparents in many cases. Fuck it they are already here and we as Americans are not animals, we will do the right thing. Hell just think how much the tax base will expand. I say register them, in fact that is 99.9 % going to happen

I want to add that its not just Mexicans coming across the border because they are Mexicans, hell if that were China or Germany there would be Chinese or German illegals pouring across also. Mexico just happens to border us. I wonder if there has been any study of Canadians who come across and then decide to just blend in and stay forever?
