I had a Cadillac Coup Deville and the power window motor, went bad. Went to a junk yard and for 25 dollars was able to get a used one that lasted longer than the car.e

Which one is it?

While looking at the parts catalog that I use, it seems that there was a model change for that vehicle that started with some 2007 models. When 2008 models went into production, some models used 2007 parts until mid-year, when the remainder of production used the newer(more expensive apparently) parts.
Based on what I can see, it looks like both control modules will fit in the space. If that is the case, then perhaps you can switch out the plugs. That will require soldering to keep from creating more problems.

Why? Because dumbasses are taking over.

Well based on the thread title, I am soooo disappointed this isn't a thread about the side effects of viagra.....

Anyway, sound like either they shipped you the wrong part or, ocassionally, in changeover years they deplete their old parts inventory before they switchover to the parts in the manuals. My mom had a car like that. Pretty much nothing I bought using the make and model ever worked. Fortunately the local autozone guy used to be a mechanic and could tell me what different make and model I needed to ask for for the oil filters and such to get them to fit.

no the one i ordered had a large upper right button...but that is what i need i think....i have ordered it...thank you so much

Switch..the upper right button needs to be small
See how the switch panel looks on the top side? Now look at the bottom side where the connector is. Very important they match exactly.

Check this out...

Take a picture of it and send to your parts guy or take it in to a parts house. No guess work.

Or was it this?

that is the one i have...large right button is the problem....

part of the problem is simply lack of communication....my mechanic kept saying the button is too large...i am going what button....round and round we went...he finally shows me on the computer...unfortunately he is semi retired and doesnt search for parts anymore
