Why is racism, homophobia and such always considered "right wing"?

When homophobia, racism, anti women's rights, anti immigrant and other types of hatred are mentioned, people always assume it's from the right wing. How did one half of America get this reputation?

Mainly because the left-wing press has manipulated its way into the the majority, and have used their media monopoly to negatively pigeonhole what were once widely accepted underlying elements of human instinct - fear of the unknown/unpredictable - which still [undeniably] occupy our subconscious today. It's all been an attempt to dislocate your gut instinct from what the (supposedly) socially fashionable/delusional would otherwise have you believe.

It was a nice try, but base human instinct and reality will always be thicker than water.

P.s. The items on your agenda that I haven't highlighted are just figments of your willfully provocative imagination, they're invalid.

Because, generally speaking, (and a close study of this board will certainly support this theory, too) the same people who support what is generally thought of as a right wing POV regarding economics ALSO tend to support a racist and somewhat sexist POV on social issues.

At the extreme right wing tip, of course, the problem is what constitutes homophobia, racism, anti-women's rights (there's a political catch phrase if I ever heard one), anti-immigrant (now there's a thoroughly, purposely deceptive ans deceitful word), and other types of hatred to people like yourself is generally so far removed from reality as to be otherworldly yet people like you have managed to bamboozle quite a few people into believing you have the correct definitions. Goebbels would be proud!!

You do realize that until Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" bought the black vote with welfare programs, the Democrats were known for their racism. Hell Al Gore (Sr.) and JFK voted against civil rights legislation in 1957.

It just seem this way to you because you want to treat each group differently.
