Nobody in his or her sane mind believes that Trump finger banged or otherwise twiddled that E. Carroll idiot. Most who do are idiots or merely enjoying having their bias confirmed. Further, it was brought under a NY law that removed the statute of limitations for sexual assault ... for one year. Then the law sunset. This was quiet clearly directed at Trump, though some other golddiggers used it too. In other words, it was a setup from the beginning.

His biggest opposition, politically, hasn't been from Democrats but moderate, establishment Republicans. The Lincoln project are moderate Republicans. The people who filed to have Trump removed from the ballot in Colorado? Not Democrats but the establishment wing of the Republican Party. You Bingos are in a tough spot. Yeah but Trump isn't any more senile and is still incredibly deplorable. Hillary was pretty far ahead at this point in 2016 too and what that reflected was that the Republican hadn't really coalesced around anyone yet. There was no enthusiasm for establishment candidates until Trump won the nomination, closed the gap to within the margin of error and ultimately won. That's not really the same thing going on here but polls this far out aren't really gauging much but enthusiasm. Trumps base is very enthusiastic about Trump and Bidens base is still hoping someone else steps up. Moderates were hoping an establishment Republican would win but since that isn't happening they're going to to start leaning towards Biden. By the time the election rolls around and everyone accepts its going to be a repeat of 2020 Biden will pull ahead because the vast majority of this country wants nothing to do with you deplorables.
