Why gun control is a thing right now

Neo- Nazis need unarmed citizens

This is the approved merchandise at a gun show. When was the last time you saw this stuff at a gun control rally?

It's clear that there will no new laws in regards to gun control and that all of this is largely a circle jerk of political grand standing on both sides. However it's bizarre that this current political trend has gone on for so long with such pointlessness at the base of it. And the reason for this is now obvious. Most political trends come and go with current events. However since the right got it's ass handed to it in the last election and has been getting it's ass handed to them in most issues since, gun control has been the one issue the conservatives have been able to rally people around. Even though there's absolutely no evidence of any new legislation or government effort to "take their guns" we read every day about gun grabbers and paranoid fantasies about how Obama is coming to get these people. This paranoia is absolutely retarded but it's the one issue conservatives can get people to rally behind since most of their ideology is in shambles and their political reputation has been completely destroyed by gaff after gaff in the political arena. And they're going to continue with this idiocy ad nauseum until they figure a new issue they can get people to rally around, however since they're a very hypocritical and ideologically weak group it's going to be a long time before they move on.

The New York law does just that. They aren't taking the guns, however you have to sell any clip you own over 7 rounds out of state by a certain deadline.

Unless new clips can be machined to meet the regulation, that effectively makes alot of currently owned firearms ineffective clubs.

Then The NRA should be happy that they can make a shit load of money selling the NEW smaller clips ot you insane idiots

You can not argue using logic with a sycophant of a professional psychopath.

They do not see the incredible logical failure that is being pushed through the legislative process by professional psychopaths such as Coumo, because they have actually fallen into a situation in which they admire, and then display the attributes/characteristics of a psychopath. The professional ones are the best at creating these sycophants.
