I was listening to one of the erstwhile Republican candidates for Senate plead his case last night. And during his pitch, he stated that his opponent (the incumbent) was the MOST liberal member of the Senate. Interesting. It's even more interesting that I've heard that claim made several times over the years by a number of different conservative candidates in reference to several different Senators AND in reference to President Obama (when he was running for the presidency). I'm pretty sure I also remember it being said about Clinton several times while he was serving AS president. ("Clinton is the MOST liberal president we've ever had in our history.")

Anyone else have this experience?
