Really?

I was reading somewhere men enjoy porn because they get the sense the woman posing in the pics is there just for them - making the man feel sexually attractive, or special. I think I agree with that idea. It may happen on a subconscious level, but I can understand how having this hot woman gazing longingly toward the viewer, coupled with an imagination and the idea makes sense.

Wives/Girlfriends...If your guy spends too much time looking at porn, try showering him with thoughts insinuating he is a sexual god. Do that for a week, and see if the theory holds.

Your thoughts?

I can agree with that. Marriage shouldn't end the game of enticement, it keeps things exciting. It should also go both ways, women like that kind of attention too.

I'm thinking our society is too afraid of being co-dependant. Frankly, co-dependency is what a marriage should be about; A man and a woman depending on one-another for every aspect of their marriage. Love. Honour. Cherish. Those things. Marriage should be about one person sacrificing their time, affections, and such for the sake of the other. Then, the other reciprocating appropriately.

So...yeah... my $.02

One thing you need to think about is that there are some things ones
wife will not do. I really don't want my wife to be a dirty little slut, so
porn comes into the picture.

Well, I suppose there are levels of Pornography...however, material such as playboy, etc., is not dirty nor kinky. I'm saying it's not the 'act' which is going on, it's the fact a guy has in his field of view an attractive woman who seemingly enjoys the guy. You are addressing the 'content' of the porn, while I am talking about the 'porn'. The motivations. I'm contending men and women will not get so wrapped up in pornography if they have an otherwise healthy, stimulating sex/intimacy life.

Mostly. :)

Then...you have the freaks.

Oh - and there's nothing wrong with one's wife being a dirty slut - on occasion...and if she's a monogamous dirty slut.

Edit - You bring up an interesting point:

"Some things my (spouse) will not do". I'm pretty sure there should be few things spouses should not do, sexually, for their mate. Sure there are lines to be drawn, but as a rule, both should be willing to dress up in a clown suit, if that helps the other. :)

Are you speaking of Oral sex???

Not specifically no. If you can understand how you are making the other feel by what you are doing, it makes the act mean more, even though you may not feel like doing it. This isn't always sexual, but it can be applied there too.
