Why Black voters hate the republican party

YOU DICK!!!!

Did you even bother to read the article??

It's about FELONS

and about an accounting issue, has NOTHING TO DO WITH BLACKS, wait, are blacks the only felons in your world?

"The Brennan Center looked at a state Division of Elections list that showed 145,823 people were granted clemency and had their civil rights restored by the governor and Cabinet since 1964. But when it asked the Office of Executive Clemency for the same list, the number came back as 171,408.

Schell said that suggests that as many as 25,585 felons who have had their rights restored could be mistakenly on the state purge list, though he acknowledged the difference could be much smaller considering the number of people who may have died or moved away over the years, or the number of ex-felons who got their civil rights restored but never registered to vote."

They never read their own links crusader. Be very aware of the links with the 1st paragraphs they post to support their cause but when you read the second paragraph, it totally blows the 1st one away. They do it all the time.

" A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put it's pants on."
Winston Churchill.

Why Black voters hate the republican party

Cause they are not nearly as dumb as the republicans think they are.

Yes and you are stupid enough to vote for someone who had NO executive experience, was a state legislator, a community organizor, spent all of 150 days in the U.S senate and you did it all because of the color of his skin. Who's the racist here??????? You are.:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

Truthmatters, another racist, is making a very very racist assumption here by clearly pointing out that he or she thinks only blacks are convicted felons.

I think that convicted felons are white, black, hispanic, asian you name it, it transcends all racial lines, but truthmatters does not think so. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm??? Racist, who's the racist with this distinctive assumption. You are truthmatters and you are a liberal democrat.

If you bother to read any of the links to the felons list you will realize that the rebuplicans constructed a list so that people with traditional black names were kept from voting.

This didnt just effect blacks it effected white people as well as latino people.

The lists were designed to use initials , nick names and as broad a use as possible.

The effect was that people who had never been arrested for anything and just had a simular name to some felon in Texas was kept from voting.

You people can keep denying the facts at your own peril. You are killing your party with your allowance of tactics like this.

You refuse ANY facts that show what your party is really doing in your name.

You defend reprehensible behavior to protect the name of "Republican".

You are defending the stripping of the most sacred American right, the right to vote.

How truely evil you people are making yourselves look.

The "issue" is that there is a "discrepancy of "25,585, which assumes that since 1964, no one on the bigger list died or moved away.

You are a FUCKING LIAR!!

Botched Name Purge Denied Some the Right to Vote (washingtonpost.com)

TAMPA -- Kelvin King was turned away from the polls here in November when records showed that he was ineligible to vote as a convicted felon. County election officials learned days later that King's civil rights had been restored eight months earlier.

Sandylynn Williams had voted in every election since she was 18. But this time, election officials confused her with her sister -- a felon who had once used Williams's name -- and refused to let her vote.

Jeffrey Key, 37, who served time on a 1989 armed robbery charge, said he resumed voting in 1992 without applying to have his voting rights restored. He said he also voted in 1996, but in 2000, he was turned away from the polls. (Jim Stem - Silver Image)

"They sent me a letter of apology, and I just laughed," recalled Williams, 34, who said she had planned to vote for Democratic nominee Al Gore. "I was cheated out of voting."

You people work so hard to deny cold hard facts.

It would be so much easier for you to just accept the truth and improve your party.

You dont seem to care if your party is decent, you just follow blindly a name.

Then maybe you should realize your shit is backfiring little tainttaster

Too many Republicans to follow blindly, speak Tea Bag instead of think, think that in no way the Dems can be a loyal opposition. That is stupid, because not enough Republicans exist to win elections alone on the name. The party needs the middle. We lost the middle in 2008, and we lost the election. We got the middle in NJ and VA against very weak Dem opponents, and we won.

We cannot win with the extreme reactionary right controlling the agenda: that happens, we lose again in 2012.

Now the Dems have their problems as well, and I think we should capitalize on them.

At least one person gets it. Good.

I'd like to see a viable Republican Party. I'd like to vote for a Republican again. Until they turn around from the cliff they seem intend to jump off of though, that isn't going to happen.

In your opinion, what do we need to be doing to hang onto our conservatives (I am not talking about the reactionary whackos like the Rushtoids or the Seantoids) and appeal to the middle?
