Why 2nd Amendment supporters who support mandatory training are wrong….

People kill people
People have always killed people
People will always kill people

This is a law of the universe as irrefutable as gravity.

I was standing in front of my open gun safe the other day and none of those guns killed me because I happened to be standing in front of them
You have a gun safe?
Why?
If guns are not a problem...
If gun safety is not an issue...

Why lock up your guns?

Oh, and...
How many people are shot every year because they happened to be standing in front of a gun being handled, cleaned, or just fooled with by someone without safety awareness?

Dumbass just keep showing your ignorance
Damn straight I will kill someone with my gun if they try to harm me or my family. Damn straight that's its intended purpose.
I have a bad day
I get scared because some Black guys are playing music in the parking lot
Some guy cuts me on on the interstate
I forgot to unload before cleaning
I failed to lock it up and my 3 yo son finds it...

Guys with guns have lots of reasons for killing people.
Most of which would evaporate with safety awareness training.

He never said the only place you could get firearm training was in school. But you can't quit school until you're 16 so freshmen year in high school you meet your stupidity.
One can't officially quit but kids stop going at 12, 13, 14...
So if you're looking for stupidity and especially ignorance, look in the mirror.

Guns don't care how tall you are.
and
Pools killed fewer than 500 kids last year while guns killed almost 2000.

Perhaps your ass isn't a great source?

Accidental firearm deaths are 500 a year or less and that includes adults and children

Intentional murder is not a gun killing someone it's anther PERSON murdering someone.

It will remind owners to secure their weapons.
Secured weapons are less likely to be stolen and therefore less likely to be used in crime.

Surely this is not difficult to understand.
No it won't.

The vast majority of legal gun owners already secure their weapons,

Only a moron believes that the 150 million gun owners in this country leave their guns laying around

I told my kids...

There are no accidents.
"Accidents" happen when people don't do what they're supposed to do.
Or
When people do what they're not supposed to do.

Everything else is an act of God.

We require training to drive a car to reduce accidents
We require training to fly or drive a bus to reduce accidents

What we don't require training for and what you fools so virulently oppose is safety training for the most deadly of "accident" causes.

That, TBH, is just plain stupid.
Accidents happen all the time because humans are imperfect.

People with half a brain know that there will never be zero accidents in any human activity

Juggling and ignoring and making up stats doesn't change what is tue.

Safety awareness training would result in significant reductions in firearms casualties, both intentional and accidental, without denying anyone's 2nd amendment rights.

Just as safety awareness like fencing in pools has reduced drownings.

I don't make up numbers like you do.

  • 492 people unintentionally die by gun in an average year.

Of course you make up numbers.

Like the fantasized gun use prevented 4 billion crimes.
Where did I ever say anything about 4 billion crimes?

Quote the post.

When you can't will you have the integrity to admit you're a lying sack of shit?

Wrong.......guns did not kill 2,000 kids in any year...you lying piece of crap...

I can't believe you guys don't have Obvious Troll on ignore.

I use him like a punching bag......also, iin the past, in debating some of their obvious lies and stupid talking points, I often find new data and statistics to push in their faces....

Rephrasing as: What things, whose primary purpose is killing, don’t have more than one purpose?
/----/ "What things, whose primary purpose is killing"
That's just your opinion. You've gone from ONLY PURPOSE to PRIMARY PURPOSE. Let's ban rat poison, bug spray, insecticides, antibiotics, and antifungals. whose only purpose is killing.

You need to stop projecting your own faults on others.

Most of those accidents happen to criminals and their children...since they can't legally buy, own or carry a gun and they keep their guns accessible in case another criminal attacks them....

535 in 2020 killed in accidental gun deaths from the CDC Wisqars...

People accidentally killed by cars.....

40.698

So....according to your logic, if 535 accidental gun deaths demands gun banning and confiscation...what does 40,698 deaths by car mean?

Yes I do have a gun safe.

I actually had it installed while I was pouring the foundation for my house.

It's a 600 lb safe that is lagged into the concrete floor of my basement.

And guess what lots of gun owners have gun safes but you're too stupid to know that.

I like the vast majority of gun owners secure my weapons just like I lock my car and my doors of my house.

I really don't care if people get injured because they are STUPID. It's evolution at work
