Who is to Blame for the Government Shutdown?

Who is refusing to negotiate?

  • Donald Trump

  • Nancy Pelosi

Results are only viewable after voting.
Pelosi and Democrats can add their own Conditions and Demands
to get equal support and funding as the Wall.

So that way, Democrats can get what they want
and any refusal of those concessions to get the Wall
can be blamed on Trump and Conservative opponents in Congress if they refuse to
approve both sets of conditions in the same budget and bill.
Nothing can be done until its brought to a vote which Mitch wont do until Drumpf gives the OK.

Sometime in the future, history will record the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, and it will fall squarely on Trump's shoulders. Why? Because this is his administration. The old saying is, "the buck stops here". That's what happens to presidents. The president's name is at the top of the list. When is the last time an event was recorded as occurring while "X" was speaker of the house, or while "Y" was a member of the senate? Everything is recorded as happening during the presidential administration of whoever was in office at the time. So this is his shutdown, right or wrong. Of course, he is also on record as saying a shutdown can only occur if the president is weak. That doesn't help his cause from a historical perspective, either.

Donald Trump wants a wall. Nancy Pelosi doesn't want to give him one. Is this a sincere policy difference or just political gamesmanship?
From Drumpf himself.

"A shutdown falls on the President's lack of leadership. He can't even control his party and get people together in a room. A shutdown means the President is weak."
-Drumpf 2013

Trump said he would own this shutdown it's 100 percent all him. Plus that dumb dumb just violated the espionage act of 1917 by trying to play get back at Nancy. Good luck getting out of that one ya moron.

Democrats voted to fund a Wall before they voted against it. What do you think?
Dems never voted to fund a wall. A fence in certain "areas" is not a wall.

Idiot....
Opinion | Democrats were for a wall before they were against it
I know youre an idiot. No need to announce yourself. You think an opinion piece is a substitute for the facts?

Fact Sheet: The Secure Fence Act of 2006

By Making Wise Use Of Physical Barriers And Deploying 21st Century Technology, We Can Help Our Border Patrol Agents Do Their Job And Make Our Border More Secure. The Secure Fence Act:

  • Authorizes the construction of hundreds of miles of additional fencing along our Southern border;
  • Authorizes more vehicle barriers, checkpoints, and lighting to help prevent people from entering our country illegally;
  • Authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to increase the use of advanced technology like cameras, satellites, and unmanned aerial vehicles to reinforce our infrastructure at the border.

Evidently you fell off a turnip wagon. Again a fence is not a wall.

The annual budget should have been settled before the start of the fiscal year on October 1st. I'm not picking sides because neither party has shown any fiscal responsibility in this 21st century.

The Republican Congress never passed a FY2019 budget. If we had a full FY2019 budget, there would be no shutdown.

Plus, Trump is running a massive deficit. He's out of money and needs Congress to let him borrow more.

The party claiming to be the party of fiscal responsibility and small government and balanced budgets screwed the pooch. Since taking power, instead of fiscal responsibility and lowering our deficits, they have ACCELERATED our deficits. Doubling them in just two years.

You can't be blackmailed, or over a barrel, if you run government properly. Trump and the GOP put themselves in this position where the Democrats can exploit their stupidity and fiscal irresponsibility.

Mitch McConnell has given up on Trump. Last week stating they make deals with Trump one day, then he listens to Ann Coulter & Rush Limbaugh and renigs on them the next day. So he says he not going to put any effort at all in working with Trump to get anything done.

Apparently Ann Coulter & Rush Limbaugh are running the country right now--:auiqs.jpg:

Trump at one time told his constituents that the WALL was already built--:crying:
November 28, 2018 - TRUMP'S GREAT WALL BECOMES TRUMP'S GREAT STALL
Ann Coulter slams Trump for lying about wall already being built: Does he think his supporters are dumb?

So this shutdown is all on Trump, and he more than gleefully admitted it.

Great, and what is your interpretation of Physical Barriers and authorizes the construction of hundreds of miles of additional fencing, ya fricken dimwit.

No they don't.

"That’s a mischaracterization of the barrier that won Democratic support 13 years ago.

Just over half of Democrats in the Senate voted for the Secure Fence Act of 2006, which was signed into law by President George W. Bush, including then-Sens. Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton. Most Democrats in the House voted against it, including Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

The law authorized a fence along about 700 miles of the border between the U.S.-Mexico border. By 2015, U.S. Customs and Border Protection had constructed 654 miles of fencing, the Government Accountability Office reported.

The fence was different from the wall Trump promised to build on the campaign trail, ...."

Did Democrats reverse border wall position after Trump?

I've been shouting from the rooftops that the GOP and Trump took a declining deficit and accelerated it for two years now, people.

This is what happens when the voters become hypocrites and ignore the very thing they made the most noise about during the Obama years.

Your hypocrisy is biting you all in the ass. And you still don't see it.
