The one that has spent 6 months claiming we are in the worst economic condition since the great depression?
Or the one that has his top economic advisor say today, there are "modestly encouraging signs"?
Upbeat Obama touts new economic model for recovery

Uhmm hello, the economy was up-ticking in January, but as late as last week he was still referring to a depression as an analogy of our current economy.

Which Mr Obama do you believe?

I believe the one who said this:

"What you see in FDR that I hope my team can emulate is, not always getting it right, but projecting a sense of confidence."

Projecting a sense of confidence is what all con men do. That's why it's called that. But notice also his priorities as verbalized there. Projecting that "sense of confidence" is more important to him than getting it right!

Imagine if Bushie had said such a thing!

    In other words:

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.

Remember Cool Hand Luke? He bluffed their asses off in that poker game, with his confident, "kick a buck" strategy. Exactly what Obama's doing, doubling-down and even tripling down on the deficits.

Obama's not Cool Hand Luke and this isn't a poker game. In this game, you really DO gotta have the cards. He's finding that out.

Haha, running around screaming doom and gloom sure instilled confidence, didn't it?
Some people think self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it. Maybe that's what he meant.

He had to scream doom and gloom to get elected. Someone forgot to tell him he's not running for President anymore, he IS President!
