52 days, 52 mistakes
Let me count them up, in no particular order. Some are big. Some are small.

We all make mistakes. Here’s his:

1. A do-over on the oath of office.
2. Tim Geithner.
3. Bill Richardson.
4. Tom Daschle.
5. Eric “Nation of Cowards” Holder.
6. Leon Panetta.
...

14. Letting Nancy Pelosi write the $787 billion “stimulus’ plan.
15. Relying on Tim Geithner to explain it.
16. It is a $13-a-week stimulus, or as his wife said of Bush’s plan: “You’re getting $600. What can you do with that? Not to be ungrateful or anything. But maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn’t pay down every bill every month.”
17. Going to a press conference without a TelePrompTer. I… Uhh… Umm… Could you repeat the question?
18. Using a TelePrompTer at a press conference. Big boys don’t need training wheels.
19. “Good evening, everybody. Please be seated. Before I take your questions tonight, I’d like to speak briefly.” 1,228 words later he took his first question.
20. Going after Rush Limbaugh.
21. Going after Rick Santelli.
22. Going after Jim Cramer.
23. “Never waste a good crisis.”
24. Obama supporter Warren Buffett: “I don’t think anybody on December 7th would have said a ‘war is a terrible thing to waste, and therefore we’re going to try and ram through a whole bunch of things and — but we expect to — expect the other party to unite behind us on the — on the big problem.’ It’s just a mistake, I think.”

....
Plenty more...

Hopefully, people will "get it" pretty soon.

He is just another example of a candidate saying anything and everything to get elected.

My fave: Market ups and down are unimportant.

:cuckoo:

Well, we will see how well President Obama has done in about two years. However, even if we are out of the woods, and the economy is booming, you people will find something to bitch about. Like two terms for President Obama.

At least we are not making shit up like you all did with Bush. Remind us how Bush lied by believing EXACTLY what every other Country in the free world believed?

Would that be any different than the last eight years?

I pray to God that President Obama succeeds. I hope the economy turns around and we go back to a booming economy... okay, I hope that he falls short at making this a socialistic country, but I pray still that he succeeds at turning the economy around.

You are right though, I will probably still be bitching about career politicians regardless of the party to which they belong as I believe that both parties are working towards the complete destruction of the United States of America... not intentionally mind you, but I think that the utter corruption of career politicians will be the end of our great country.

A horribly overmatched Obama could hardly be expected to handle this job, only fools thought it was a good idea to elect such an unqualified candidate.

52. Missing the Gridiron Club Dinner:

The Gridiron Dinner (coming up on March 21st.) is one of oldest instituions between the Washington Press Corp and the President and no president has missed it in his first year in office since World War II.

At first, the word was that President Obama would skip the dinner because he'd be out of town for spring break with his daughters.

But the White House confirmed Friday that the Obamas will actually be at Camp David that particular Saturday and since he’s the presumed guest of honor, his no-show by some is being taken as a snub.

I took a look at the White House Press Briefing today and here is the part leading up to the announcement on Sat. 21st March:
On next Friday, the President will be at the White House and then later in the afternoon the President and the First Family will travel to Camp David for the beginning of -- I believe the beginning of the girls' spring break.
Q What's the coverage for Saturday?
MR. GIBBS: I think we will do a pool spray on that, but we'll have something on that and we'll get you some information on radio address a little bit later on today.
So I assume Chuck is watching the ACC tournament -- (laughter) -- and fire away.
Q Not anymore. (Laughter.)

So the girls are taking their spring break at Camp David this year....."Camp David isn't really considered out of town, or at least not the sort of out-of-town destination from which a president couldn't escape if he actually wanted to get back to town."

God, I love these right wing whine sessions!

It is great to see the losers complaining.

52 mistakes? more like 800 billion +++. And lets start writing another spending package!... JUST IN CASE :cuckoo:
Yes, bush made that many mistakes too, but at least it took him 8 years and not a matter of weeks. sad.

What a load of shit. 4 years from now when our economy has finally recovered to 1995 levels and NOT the bullshit 2003-2007 levels, you'll be thanking the democrats.

At least Obama's spending money on AMERICA and not some godforsaken Middle Eastern country.
