This question is especially interesting in the context of a hypothetical scenario of a third civil war. Suppose the British colonies collide with the rest of the states. Do they have a chance?

What about the Navy? Are they mostly located in the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean?
How significant can be the role of the Navy for land battles?

There isn't one central location.

There are geographical commands, and there is the Pentagon in D.C. which is the central 'hub', if you will. .

Pacific command for the Navy is in Pearl Harbor, HI
I believe for the Atlantic it is Norfolk, Va....but I'm not 100% sure on either.
US Marine Corp is the Navy's ground force.

Unlike your country who uses their military their military to control their population, the US deploys most of its troops, air power and naval forces globally

A foreign poster wants to know where the main U.S. military is located. Should we tell him?
Your government now - foreign British agents and Supreme Commander Xi Jinping, so don't worry

What about rocket launchers for launching large ballistic missiles? Do they have to be mine-mounted, or installed for rail delivery?

Not that it matters much in this day and age, or that you really know much but what they want you to know, but have you ever heard the adage about "Loose Lips." WTF, does this OP want to know for?

There are many major operating bases in the United States (indicated by black circles)

By the way, in the British states there is only one.

Why is there so little military presence in Canada?

For the same reason that according to your Russian map, there are none in India, Brazil, Mexico, China, Russia, all of S. America, all of Africa (save one), and Australia. We ain't the world police.
But Canada is of great strategic importance, since it is next to the United States, this should cover the northern borders, and it is convenient for land delivery.

Not sure. Maybe you should ask the CIA.

In the Russian Federation, it is clear that no one will allow the deployment of US troops. China is surrounded. From Japan and Korea, there are several main bases, and there are from the west, from Afghanistan.

But they lost bases in northern Afghanistan, right?
Please keep up, it is common knowledge in even the most remote corners of the world that the US hasn't had military in Afghanistan since Aug. of last year. The taliban owns all of that equipment now.
