Where Are The Jobs? No Job Bill Yet.

So....."Job Creation Will Be Our Number One Priority". Words from St. John of Orange. "We Must Make Job Creation Number One". Eric Cannot Do It.

Since the ConJobs, Repugs and Teabaggers have taken over the House, their first priority was suppose to have been job creation. That was, after all the promise they made after Election Day in November.

Yet, so far....

A. One bill that would have redefined rape was taken off the floor.

B. At least three bill that would make drastic cuts to Abortion Rights have been put forward..

C. A Vote to Repeal Health Care passed in the House, and then died in the Senate.

But not one single solitary GODDAMN BILL TO CREATE JOBS. NO ONE FUCKING JOBS BILL.

Yep, "Job Creation Will Our......"

Number One Priority - Nope.

WHERE ARE THE FUCKING JOBS BONER???

Ummm.. bills do not create jobs, unlike what the DEMs would love you to believe... a bill/law may create a government job... sucking off the taxation tit....

What will create the jobs is less interference by government... not more... and what I anticipate are bills to reduce government spending, reduce the deficit... bills that equalize % burden of taxation to ALL citizen earners.... bills to balance the budget, and bills to reduce the size and scope of government, which will eventually lead to a need for lesser taxation, which will lead to a stronger economy.... leading to more jobs

Loosen the handcuffs of freedom and commerce, and the jobs will follow

A bill can inhibit job creation but does not create jobs. That order comes from the entrepreneur.

It's not real difficult to understand that spending trillions does not create jobs.

The Republicans ran on job creation, and blamed Obama for the jobless recovery. Now DDave explains they really ran on trickle down policies.
Me thinks I've heard this all before.

Another fool opend his mouth and removed all doubt.

damn

look here's a hint;

Killing big 0 care would have created jobs b/c biz big and small would have been free to hire more people b/c they know the cost of doing biz didn't go up.

But the dims killed it in the Senate, and dumbasses like you expect some law to come down from on high and cure your stewpidity, I mean create jobs just b/c they passed yet another bill.

Follow this thinking:

A legislature approves money for a new project.
Bid are received and one is selected.
The contractor hires employees
The employees buy tool, lunches, pay their rent, buy a car or dish washer
The economy grows.
The restaurant hires a new cook; the car salesman takes his wife to dinner, the dishwasher salesman buys a new fishing pole
And on it goes.

Exactly. Get rid of the burdensome regulations off business, defeat ObamaCare...get the jackboot off our necks and commerce flow will be restored.

No need for ANY "job bill' at all.

Yep. They an on job creation. Part of that was to repeal the biggest job killer out there right now....Healthcare.

We saw that Pelosis way was not creating jobs...so now we want to try the opposite.

What is it...you want to continue with the same failed policies of the last 6 years?

Yep..government shouldn't fix things or create jobs. But we should trust government on things like killing people in our prisons (They never ever get it wrong), forcing women to carry to term (Yay, pregnancy police), and killing people in other lands.

Those things the government is absolutely infalliable about.

Got it.

good lord

A legislature approves to spend your hard earnedmoney for a new project.
Bid are received and one is selected. The lowest bid, so we get crap labor and quality
The contractor hires union enployees, that work slow so the cost goes way up.employees
The employees buy tool, lunches, pay their rent, buy a car or dish washer
The economy grows.
The restaurant hires a new cook; the car salesman takes his wife to dinner, the dishwasher salesman buys a new fishing pole
And on it goes

Try this

The government cuts taxes.
Every biz can expand
Each will need more employees

Everyone benefits, not just union insiders. or a single bidder.

It's a temporary fix. It's not permanent. Those monies approved are collected from taxes.

Wow. You are seriously misguided.
I am not against other aborting if they wish......but the government has nothing to do with the woman carrying to term. The obgyn watches over that...not the government.

You seem to be a verey angry man Sallow

Actually, when it comes to killing, America is really really good at it.

Republicans have been in the majority for a month. Where were the jobs bills in the last two years? Any idea what the new democrat majority tackled half way into Bush's 2nd term? They held hearings about steriod use in baseball while Fannie Mae was on the verge of collapse.

There is not such thing as a Jobs Bill. Congress cannot pass laws that magically create jobs.

What it can do is to establish a climate of low taxes, restrained government spending, and a proper legal and regulatory framework so that private enterprise is more willing to invest in the creation of new jobs.

Follow this...dare I say....logic

Government approves money for a project. Nothing really needed....but it will create jobs.
Bids are received..one is selected.
Contractor hires employees
Employees dont buy tools as they know it is only ONE project and not a permanent job. So they borrow tools from Joe who was NOT hired.
They do not buy a car as they know the job is temporary. Joe, the unemployed hiy collecting tax dollar unemployment for 2 years gives them a ride.
Buy a dishwasher? Isnt that irresponsible in a recession when all you have is a temporary job?
And in the end? The economy barely grew...tax dollars spent on something that was not necessary...and our debt contines to grow.

Everyone.

Please give Whithall some pos rep for this moment of clear comparison.

President Obama pivots to jobs as key theme
By MIKE ALLEN | 1/8/10 6:42 AM EDT
Updated: 1/8/10 7:15 PM EDT

President Barack Obama on Friday made his promised hard pivot to jobs, following up the morning’s news about a 10 percent unemployment rate by announcing $2.3 billion in tax credits for clean-energy jobs.

“We have to continue to work every single day to get our economy moving again. For most Americans, for me, that means jobs,” Obama said.

“The job losses for the last quarter of 2009 were one-tenth of what we were experiencing the first quarter,” the president said. “The Recovery Act has been a major force in breaking the trajectory of this recession.”

The White House said that 183 projects in 43 states will create “tens of thousands of high quality clean energy jobs.” And the administration promised that the result of the new money would be domestic manufacturing of advanced clean energy technologies including solar, wind and efficiency and energy management technologies.
