California Girl, I never said it was my own thoughts. If you don't like it, well, what can I do. I just found the article interesting and wanted to see what CONSTRUCTIVE input I got.

If the superiority of the US economy must be mainained at all costs, then, assuming the claims in the OP are true, there's only once possible course of action:
We must go to war and destroy China's economy.
In all reality, this should be a reasonably simple thing to do.
unlike you many of us care about this country
While citizens may very well care about "the country," business leaders care about profit. That means that they will ship the jobs to where the wage rates are the lowest.
Maybe if Americans were prepares to work jobs that pay $1 or $2 an hour without any benefits, the jobs would come back.
Never going to happen.
he International Monetary Fund has just dropped a bombshell, and nobody noticed.
For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the "Age of America" will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China.
And it's a lot closer than you may think.
According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China's economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 just five years from now.
Put that in your calendar.
It provides a painful context for the budget wrangling taking place in Washington right now. It raises enormous questions about what the international security system is going to look like in just a handful of years. And it casts a deepening cloud over both the U.S. dollar and the giant Treasury market, which have been propped up for decades by their privileged status as the liabilities of the world's hegemonic power.
According to the IMF forecast, which was quietly posted on the Fund's website just two weeks ago, whoever is elected U.S. president next year Obama? Mitt Romney? Donald Trump? will be the last to preside over the world's largest economy.
Most people aren't prepared for this. They aren't even aware it's that close. Listen to experts of various stripes, and they will tell you this moment is decades away. The most bearish will put the figure in the mid-2020s.

Don't be too sure. In a poor economy, wages fall because it's an employers' market with few jobs and high unemployment.
In the Internet age, even back office jobs can be outsourced. So too can the jobs of of radiologists and other traditonal white collar jobs. After all, an doctor in India, where wages are far lower than here, can read and x-ray or a cat scan just as well as a radiologist in any American hospital.
Likewise, in a global economy, the lower wages in countries like China will ultimately put even more downward pressure on wages here at home as parity is approached. In other words, overseas wages will start to rise even as wages here are pushed lower.
I was not lying. Don't start with me. I don't know if you're trying to call me out, but try be a bit nicer.....
I would rather see the US profiting than China. I would like to see, "Made in the USA" on my products, Not "Made in China. Store in a cool place and do not use often". STOP outsourcing. Dems and Repubs are guilty of this.

The Age of America is already ended in November, 2008.
