I won't argue your point for one minute. You are correct. You might also add the 7-10 billion per year that we send to Pakistan. You know, the country that is "supposedly" our ally? And, you might add another billion or two that just "disappears" after it is delivered to Afghanistan. You might also add the 10 Billion that we send to Saudi Arabia each year (for what, I have no idea). Another 5 billion that we send to Africa and another 2.5 billion that we send to Sri Lanka, as well.

I'm sure that there is other countries that we constantly "aid" - but keep in mind that we allocated 500 million dollars to train fighters in the Middle East. For that, we got 5-6 trained "fighters" that are now dead.

Corruption runs rampant in this country - at the tax payers expense. It is republican and it is democrat. They will tell you that it is "the cost of doing business". Nonsense.

Let me ask you a question, since you place "science" above all else. I was a young man when Polio was eradicated. I was a young man when TB was put to bed (that is until the flood of Mexicans into this country brought it with them). I have seen cures for more diseases than you can name. The world's doctors came together when the AIDS disease hit - and while not a cure was found - the disease has been dealt with. How do you suppose it is that there has never been a cure for cancer?

One word - M O N E Y.

Think about it. Cancer is probably the most profitable disease in the world. I had a friend (now deceased) who died because he could no longer afford his monthly drugs - when insurance refused to pay for it any longer -$7,000 per month. When cancer is no longer "profitable" - a cure will suddenly be found. Count on it.
