Well, the mexicans got their foot in the door doing agricultural work in California....but they have since spread out all over America and into other job categories that at one time were good paying jobs for Americans such as construction. When you pass a construction site take a gander at the workers--most of them are now Mexicans.

I think there is a place for mexican workers such as agricultural workers, yet it needs to be monitored, such as issuing legal work permits for mexican laborers in the agricltural industry. All illegals presently here should have to go back to mexico.

Then an orderly and lawful system of allowing guest workers in could be setup. These guest workers should not be allowed to take good paying jobs that American Citizens need.

Any advanced civilization needs a servant class and the mexicans make good servants, hard working and usually loyal.

The criminal class of mexicans that operate up here did not come up to work but came as participants in the drug running operations etc.

The hardworking mexican family men are in another class. They should not all be lumped together.

Dependance on cheap illegal mexican labor must be stopped. It could be done gradually in order to give the business owners time to adjust to the new law. And as has been suggested for those jobs like agricultural jobs that Americans do not want then a system of 'legal guest workers can be set up' the goal of all this of course is to make good paying jobs available to Americans first and to reduce unemployment for American citizens. The majority want that and thus it will be done.
