How very Christian of you. You must be another one of those Christian cherry-pickers who only adheres to some lessons of the bible. There are a lot of those here, you should feel at home.

We should take care of our own first.

There is nothing Christian about bringing in people with alien religions and beliefs that are certain to cause problems for our society. A sane immigration policy would be to only let in those who have something to contribute to America as in--talents and skills that are needed here. In other words the goal of our immigration policy should be what is good for America, not to act as a haven for all the worlds unfortunates.
