The voting is actually done by Mexicans with their feet, and they're voting to become Americans. I don't blame them. I'd rather live in America too. In fact, I don't get why having people want to live in your country is a "problem" that needs to be solved. What we need is another mass amnesty, Reagan-style.

The reason Mexico is fucked up the way it is results from the fact that it's full of Mexicans. When those Mexicans come here, they bring their fucked up attitude and culture with them. That's why they vote Democrat.

A liberal holds the believe that all cultures are equal and that ours is bad. Not considering the reality that our culture is why we're rich, powerful and the entire world is kicking down our door to get in.

What has made America so great is the influx of people of different cultures from all over the world.. And the cracker culture is in fact no better then others, you would know that if you traveled around the world instead of sitting in the trailer watching "faux news"

I have been very fortunate to have been born and live in NYC with the cultural diversity and that diversity is what has made NYC one of the greatest cities of the world in culture education the arts . Now with the demographic shift all across america you guys are scared shitless

If you had studied 19th and 20th century American history you would Know the same claims were made about the Irish, Jews , Italians.. etc (being uneducated and will be a drain on society)

1. Not crazy, Mexico is a great country, its has need of some better governance, and infrastructure, once we fix it it will be wonderful, we can't stop them from coming so tear down the walls, embrace them and work together to make this area of the world a better place for *all*.
2. We have the same cartels and murderers they would have to accept.
3. If we allow them to join us, then we can clean out the corruption, which is funneling off the wealth into swiss bank accounts, which does nothing for the people, Mexico has plenty of money, but its being stacked in off shore accounts.
4. The welfare needed for the poor in Mexico, can be taken out of those funds.

Yah, I think we're stuck with nation states for the time being, although comms & business & travel are bringing the World into a more coherent whole. Nah, I can see regional powers - amalgamations of say the US, Canada, Mexico - on economic & resource matters. On theories of government, I think we're still too far apart.

No, I don't advocate open borders. I think we should pick & choose the best we can get. The thing I like about our southern neighbors is that they're not afraid to work. If they're willing to do that, I think we should find a place for them.

The other part is - they're following the flow of money. Our investment in the Americas has crashed the rural economy in Mexico, & so those people flee to the cities looking for work. If they can't find any, then they consider coming to the US. It's a big choice for them, & not one they're fond of. So the people fleeing economic chaos should be welcome.

We need faster & better systems to clear immigrants who are acceptable, & screen out people who aren't.

Evidently you have no grasp as to how much less uneducated immigrants contribute compared to what they cost society. On average an immigrant with less than a HS diploma cost about $20,000.00 per year more than they contribute. We can't afford another mass influx of ignorant people.

After all, the first set of English colonists to N. America pretty much died of disease, hunger, exposure. They didn't know how/when/what to plant. Even that used to have lower demand, the typical undoc was a young male, unmarried, looking for work. His schooling was already done. As crossing the border has become more difficult, more families & children are also crossing.

Wrong. It is illegal in most states to even ask someone if they are a citizen when they have their hands out. Hospitals are required by federal law to provide all necessary care to all comers. This includes food, shelter, emergency care etc. The federal government and the States specifically advertise and recruit welfare recipients regardless of citizenship status. If you call in problems they redirect you to the feds who laugh at you. Illegals have to comit a felony to get the attention of the police and even then there are two sets of laws, one for law abide-rs like the Tea Party folk who are treated like criminals by this government and one for the criminal immigrants that are here at the invitation of the POTUS and thus are treated like future voters.
