It is a “given” in discussions of genetic engineering that no sensible person can be in favour of eugenics. The main reason for this presumption is that so much horror, misery, and mayhem have been carried out in the name of eugenics in the 20th century that no person with any moral sense could think otherwise.1–3 In fact, the abysmal history of murder and sterilisation undertaken in the name of race hygiene and the “improvement” of the human species again and again in this century is so overpowering that the risk of reoccurrence, sliding down what has proved time and time again to be an extremely slick, slippery slope, does seem enough to bring all ethical argument in favour of eugenics to an end.
However, before dismissing any favourable stance towards eugenics it is important to distinguish what has happened in the past under the banner of eugenics and what might happen in the future. It is important to distinguish between genetic changes undertaken with respect to improving a group or population and genetic change that takes a single individual as its focus.

Read the Book. He ordered the campaigns to fullfill his promises to those people that sinned against Him and people. He sent a "weak" army against hardened warriors to demonstrate that with his help even the most inferior army could "end them".

Also: OT, the sins of the father were passed to the children. If the Lord promised to "end them", He did it in His time. When Joshua was His general, there were angels that walked beside Joshua in battle. The angels were not happy to "kill" the others, but that was there assignment, and they did it well.

The Canaanites were cursed by the Lord for "stealing" land (they had been given part of Africa as Canaan was Ham's son), they stayed near "Palestine". In the NT, Yeshua blesses a Canaanite for her faith, demonstrating, the Lord is willing to forgive, based on faith and repentance.

The problem with genetic manipulation: there is no way to control it. Once it is "okay" to do little things to improve health and life, the wackos want to come, and mix species and worse. You can say it will help all you want, but historically, these things end, badly. It gives the "scientist" authority to manipulate "humans" at which point they become "experiments" that can be destoyed (start over). Once "humans" become "experiments" there is no way to assure they will be treated "humanely. Abuses will follow.

In the Name of Eugenics is one of the most biased, and yet one of the best, books I have ever come across about eugenics. Maybe if you spent a little more time digging through all his references and reading the material he did not include in his book you would have a better grasp of what eugenics is all about, and understand why knowledgeable people shun it.

I also enjoy the way you tried to make yourself sound qualified to discuss this subject by claiming you are working to promote eugenics. Until you can point to a college that teaches it as a science, which you cannot, you are doing nothing more than pissing into the wind. All that does is get you covered with piss, and teaches non fools to avoid the activity. Please continue to piss as much as you want, I will be watching from upwind.
