Take out the 4.74 million people from these five cities and you have a population size of 318 million people.

So, 318 million people, 15,809 murders equals a rate of 4.9 That's 2016. That's a higher rate than 2014 and the same rate as 2016.

So, not only does it not take you down to 189th in the world, it actually keeps the US exactly where it is.

Now, if we go to 2014 where the murder rate was 4.4, the lowest it's been since before the 1960s, that's 14,217 murders. Minus the 1441, that's 12,776 murders in the US minus these cities. That's still a murder rate of 4.0. The US drops from 94th to 107th in the list.

Not surprising at all, this means the US still has a murder rate FOUR TIMES HIGHER than most other first world countries.

I wonder what would change, if anything if the cities with the largest number of murders quietly started building new prisons, the Police Commissioner is replaced and an influx of detectives and investigators are bought in.

New technology would be brought into investigation centers that would keep tabs with the suspects. Word would get out that there is a "new Sheriff" in town and they head for the hills not so soon that the aressts and successful convictions are shown. Maximum penalties for everyone.

Wrong again, idiot. We’re talking about European culture, and it’s practice of multiculturalism in importing third worlders from African and Latino countries. Pointing out that multiculturalism is a complete failure in the West doesn’t make one a racist, any more than pointing out that all black countries and all Latino countries have very high crime rates.
