Zone1 what happens to the souls of aborted infants (or unbaptized ones?)

Originally it was written by Mormon the Father of Moroni. Later it was translated by Joseph Smith who had other write it down as he translated it.

The father of Moroni? What language did he write it in?

The term, "Original Sin" refers to Adam and Eve partaking of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God commanded Adam and Eve to not partake of it for it the day they were to partake, they would surely die. It can be argued however, that it was a transgression and not a sin since Adam and Eve did not have a knowledge of good and evil before partaking of the fruit. Upon partaking of the fruit, Adam and Eve suffered a fall from immortality to mortality. All mankind who are of the posterity of Adam and Eve are partakers of mortality but because of Jesus Christ's atonement which covers original sin, nobody is held accountable for the original sin.

You take Adam and Eve literally?

Mormon was the father of Moroni. He abridged the writing of those who came before him. Here is what he states he wrote the abridgement of his predecessors in.

Mormon 9:
32 And now, behold, we have written this record according to our knowledge, in the characters which are called among us the reformed Egyptian, being handed down and altered by us, according to our manner of speech.

Jesus Christ atoned for original sin and mankind is not held accountable for Adam and Eve's transgression. We are only held accountable for our own sins and transgressions.
not true

The damage caused by our original ancestors defying God egregiously

is inherited ... it is that egregious.. Their sin affected their whole being, body and soul

it is in the DNA, so it got passed down to their children/grandchildren... etc

and you can see this... how children are inherently selfish... dont want to share their toys, throw a temper tantrum when they don't get their way (which is not cute when the dims do it)

Yes. Adam was the first man upon the earth. He is also the angel Michael who valiantly fought against Satan in the war in heaven and is and will be the archangel known as Michael.

It's a foundation myth. There are 40,000 year old cave paintings in Spain and France. Joseph Smith was a scoundrel.

We inherit the effects of the fall, but we are not held accountable come judgement day for Adam and Eve's transgression. For this reason all mankind will be given the gift of resurrection and become immortal again.

Deuteronomy 24:16
16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Ezekiel 18:20
20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

1 Corinthians 15:53-57
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ's atoning sacrifice has brought victory to all mortal souls. They will all be resurrected and put on immortality. The effects of Adam's original sin is swallowed up in victory due to the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Resurrection come upon both the just and the unjust.

Acts 24:15
15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

All mankind will receive the resurrection from the dead from a fallen mortal state to an infinite immortal state to never die again. This is a free gift of God to all mankind, both the just and the unjust. Yes we were born into a mortal state of being because we chose to do so before the foundation of this world so that we could learn good and evil and become more like God. But God from the beginning planned for and called a Savior who would bring us back from death unto immortality through Jesus Christ's atonement. Thus Jesus Christ has overcome original sin and will bring all back to a resurrected immortal state to live forever and ever.

2 Timothy 1:10
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Original sin has been swallowed up in victory through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and all mankind will rise from the dead to put on a resurrected body of flesh and bones and live forever and ever in an immortal state.

You misinterpret the scriptures. Man has no inherit immorality. Life is a GIFT from God, but certain conditions must be met.

The genealogies of Jesus found in the New Testament attest that his lineage goes back to Adam.

Paul taught that the fall of man came by Adam and that all will be made alive by Christ. Is Christ also a myth with you?

1 Corinthians 15:22
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Romans 5:14
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Jude also believed that Adam was a real man.

Jude 1:14
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

So if the writers of the gospels took Joseph and Mary's lineage back to Adam and Paul and Jude have spoken as if Adam was a real man, where do you get the notion that Adam is a fable? We are told in Genesis that Adam lived to 930 years of age and begat Cain, Abel, and Seth and other children. Why in your mind do you write it off as a myth?

Do you believe that Acts 24:15 speaks the truth? Do you not believe that the resurrection will come upon the just and the unjust? Do you believe in the two resurrections mentioned in the Book of Revelation? Or is it that you do not believe that resurrection brings us to an immortal state as Paul preached in I Corinthians 15? Man of himself has no inherent immortality without the atonement of Jesus Christ. It is only in and through him that death is swallowed up in victory. So frankly I do not understand your objection?

Tell it to someone else. The Mormons are not truly Christian. I do not listen to what they say because I already know enough about what they believe.

I am not into believing, but KNOWING...

And God knew there would be people like me who want truth, & not mere human opinions/institutions

so He established a Church on Earth, headed by Jesus Christ in Heaven... the pope (the real not fake pope) on Earth

I've always said that the Bible is stationary with TRUTH, and it can't be moved like what Joseph Smith
did with it. He added 17 verses in Genesis, and over 2400 verses were either added or changed in the Bible
by Smith.

I know... Well, i didn't know those exact figures but I know enough about that religion to know it is just not truly Christian.. (though Thank God it mentions Jesus here and there...)

It's one thing to get some minor thing about the Word wrong, but... sigh...
