The problem with this is whites are t he ones who use TANF the most. And when you honesty look at government assistance more whites get it. You're actually incorrect about the stats, but my statement wasn't entirely accurate either, in retrospect.

That's from the Federal Sentencing Commission, Table 5 on page 8 contains a breakdown of various crime categories by citizens and non citizens. Granted, not all the non citizens are illegal immigrants. However, the TOTAL percentage of non citizens in this country is estimated at around 7 percent, and the percentage of murders committed by non citizens is 17.9 percent. That 7 percent represents around 22.3 million people. Around 11.3 million of those people are illegal immigrants. That puts them at approximate 3.54 percent of our total population. Even if non citizens here legitimately (green card holders, work visas, tourists, etcetera) were pulling the vast majority of those murders, say 11 out of that 17.9 percent, the illegal immigrants would be swinging at nearly double their weight in the murder stats. Unfortunately, you'd be hard pressed to convince most people, myself included, that it is the legitimate non citizens, just under half of all non citizens, who are committing the majority of those murders.

On the other hand, at 5.2 percent of all sexual abuse crimes for all non citizens, it's unlikely that illegal immigrants are particularly disproportionate in the commission of rape, and even if they are, it couldn't be by much. I stand half way corrected.

Moving right along, when he states that Mexico is sending its people, he does run the risk of making it sound like he means the Mexican government is sending them. On the other hand, I don't think anybody's dumb enough to believe that they're literally sending people across the border as a national policy, Trump included, and I don't even think that Trump's dumb enough to believe that he could convince anybody that it's the case. I'd be more inclined to believe that it was just another of many examples of his mouth seemingly outrunning his brain, but it could also be another exaggeration of the fact that the Mexican government does, in some ways, encourage people to migrate here illegally.

Anyway, yeah, the statements were bigoted in that they lumped into the group of criminals a majority of people who weren't guilty of the crimes to which he referred. No, they weren't racist, in that they didn't lump an entire race together, he was referring specifically to illegal immigrants in the US, and no race exists entirely or even in significant percentages under that status. They weren't even an indictment of the entire Mexican ethnicity, as he made several points of distinction between the two statements in question.


I'd just like to say, I realize that the stats I've presented here are a short window in time, so feel free to berate me on that point, but ask yourself this. . .

When most of the people at the top of the Republican party want illegal immigrants here because they offer cheap labor, and most of the top of the Democrat party wants illegal immigrants here because it means political support, and for years our official stat keeping organizations have lumped legal and illegal immigrants together in stead of adding up their crime stats separately for a more accurate view, do you suppose that it's more likely that those stats would be flattering to people who the powers that be want to convince you are a positive addition to our society, and that this latest short window represents a statistical anomaly? I never used the term Native American. Many tribes were nomadic crossing over from Canada to the US and back and forth for many generations. The term "American" should not be used for the native population.
