Back in the early 90s - beat all 3 Florida schools in their prime - Miami in 1990, Florida in the 1992 Sugar Bowl, Florida State in 1993 (Irish got cheated out of a NC IMO).

    Beat USC eleven straight.

Had a 17 game win streak over Big 10 schools -and about a 17 game win streak on the road.

Just lost to Tulsa, and in recent years to other pathetic weak-sisters.

Have lost 3 out of 4 to Navy - after having beaten them 43 straight.

CF is more interesting when ND is in the top 5 battling for the NC.

You can have theOregons, TCU, Boise states , Utahs etc of the world

Never thought I would see the day when ND was a 2 TD underdog (deservedly so) to the likes of a Utah in South Bend.

Some smuck head coach who throws into to endzone against Tulsa - when they have a chip-shot FG for the win

THE ONLY THING YOU DID NOT WANT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Throw it into the endzone - instead of trusting your FG kicker who had a 18 FG kick streak.

    BRING BACK GERRY FAUST!!!!!!!!!!!

4-8 baby!!!!!!!! Will get a tie in the bye week.

Notice how Navy - who punked ND - lost to Duke the next game??

The only possible win is against army in their camoflogue uniforms - wont happen

Coaching is what its all about.

Ara P turns around a 2-8 ND team in1963 to to 9-1 in 1964 (Irish got screwed in the USC game)

    Won 2 NCs in 1966 and 1973 (2nd in 1970)

    Beet topranked Bama twice.

Even defeats were glorious - was ahead of USC 24-0 before losing 55-24.

    DIDNT LOSE TO NO NAVYSSSS

    1964-1974

That pass into the endzone against Tulsa - a Joe Pisarick (sp?) moment.

Eagles vs Giants - when Herm Edwards returned a fumbled snap when the Giants were trying to run out the clock.
