This is another performer who "splashed in the pan" with a bunch of songs, but I think they were songs I ever heard played at "velvet rope clubs" in the '70s and 80s.
Does anyone else here remember Two Tons of Fun? They later became The Weather Girls.
As The Weather Girls, they had only one song -- "It's Raining Men" -- that I can recall, and it morphed into something of a disco kitsch parody. That said, Martha Wash could "holla" and they and Sylvester put on a good show.
Say what you want about disco music, but there's no denying it made the late 70s and 80s be a hell of a lot of incredibly libertine fun.
