One of my favorite movies and a clip that is super creepy...

I just learned today that this scene was completely ad-libbed by the actor and he was asked to come up with something to make the scene better so he grabbed the bottles from underneath the boardwalk at Coney Island and started clanging them together. The words came from his childhood because a bully in his neighborhood used to chant his name like that. Genious ad-libbing. Some of his co-actors said this was the most riveting scene in the entire movie.
