Whar Browser Should I Use?

Firefox is my primary followed by Brave then Chrome. Of course Microsoft Edge isn't on this desktop as this computer isn't Windows.......... On my Windows gamer Firefox is still my primary.
I doubt you will give it a try but Edge is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

No cookies, no pop ups, no tracking, no corporate interests...

You can block all cookies but it is a bad idea to do so because most cookies help you to use the website you are visiting. They can analysis your actions on the site to help you find what you are looking for and can improve performance. They can save information such as your sign on, places you go to on their web site as well your preferences. Many websites will not operating as designed with all cookies blocked.

However, they can do things such as switch you to a different search engine, collect data about shopping and make it available to other sites. As a general rule, you should allow your browser to block 3rd party cookies. And you should stay away from shady web sites; typically sites selling porn, items that are on the fringe of being legal, and sites that are promoting illegal activity. This is where you can get some really bad cookies, pickup viruses and really screwup your computer.

Too many 'suggestions'.
  • It is sponsored by or run by Microsoft
  • Many users of Google report that their search engine get's hijacked to Bing
  • Lastly, Google has a better search engine. The results more closely match your search parameters than with Bing.

Search engine says, Microsoft Bing. Thank you.

Chrome is by far the most popular browser on the planet (nearly 7 out of 10 people use Chrome), followed by Safari (with nearly 2 out of 10 people using it).

Bing is not a Browser, it's a search engine like Google.

How can I tell which browser I'm using? I have HP laptop and windows with Microsoft Bing search.

I usually laugh at people who think they're 'stealth posting on the innernetz n stuff'; no way, it can all be traced eventually, especially in the U.S.

We are traced by software. It is on such a large scale that no human being will ever watch your behavior.

You assume most people care what you do; most individuals just aren't that important, despite what their Mommies told them all their lives. They don't need to watch 99.9% of people, and when they do, they're all fairly easy to trace.

The activity of billions is being tracked. Nobody can assess this sheer mass of data. And you are right, they don´t care for you, just how to squeeze money out of you.

I prefer Chrome myself.

Saves passwords easily enough, syncs often with chrome on my phone, runs smooth, I don't know if popups even exist anymore because I don't see them, updated with fixes often, has a lot of options but the interface is easy to use. I just don't have any issues with it.
