UAH's lower atmospheric temperature, as I stated, is NOT the global temperature. Global temperature has risen from +0.6C since 2000. That is greater than 0.3C/decade and certainly no "pause".

You are a freaking liar since UAH covers most of the worlds surface areas, terrestrial and Ocean.

If your "it" is the earth, and "we" is those of us in the north, then your post is not true. The Earth gets cooler from Jan. to July as the earth gets farther from the sun--

Global temperatures. Northern and Southern hemispheres in opposite seasons. You know.

The vertical lines are between December and January. Note that some years the anomaly is warmer, and some years cooler at that point. In fact, in 2016, it was at that point that the anomaly was the warmest.

Meanwhile the AMO was in positive status since the late 1980's when it rapidly warmed up into the warm zone by the early 1990's. The main Sea Ice decline is largely attributed to this change since the increased influx of warm water into the Arctic started in the 1980's. Now the AMO is no longer continuing to increase, it indicate it has reached the crest and will start on it's decline soon.

And you think that overrides the 29 prior years of steady decline when Arctic temperatures have done nothing but climb at an accelerating pace? Please explain what factor do you believe would have stopped the decline in ice extents and thickness.
