"Wednesday"- Wokesters are at it again.

Did you ever read the comic strip? Gomez Addams? It's amazing how triggered the ignorant are.
There was no Gomez Addams in the comic strip. There was no Gomez until 1964 when white guy John Astin picked the name himself.

In the Charles Addams cartoons, Gomez—as with all of the members of the family—had no given name.[1] When The Addams Family television series was being developed, Charles Addams suggested naming the character either Repelli or Gomez. Addams left the final choice up to portrayer John Astin, who chose Gomez.

Show your ignorance there of the Charles Addams strip in The New Yorker...long before the TV show. You had a red state education, eh?

And that character in the comic strip had NO FIRST NAME. He had no first name until John Astin gave the character a name.
I know you can read little words. Try to educate yourself. Astin created the entire character and envisioned him as a Castilian. A EUROPEAN.
Try just a bit to reach out to the words even if you don't understand them all.

Charles Addams?

The creator of the characters?

It's amazing how triggered the ignorant are.
Yes, you have amazed us once again.

They made Gomez Mexican so having a half gringo daughter fits in with the new and woke improved Addams Family but they could have used make up to make Wednesday look more like Wednesday.

Actually as a child my behavior was very much like Wednesday. I might have been a tiny bit nastier. But very reminiscent.

Castilian.
and just where are Castilians from?

Cas·til·ian
/kaˈstilyən/
noun
  • 1.a native of Castile.
  • 2.the dialect of Spanish spoken in Castile, which is standard Spanish.
adjective
  • 1.relating to Castile, Castilians, or the Castilian form of Spanish.
why, they're from an area of Spain, which would make them Spanish

are you flaunting your ignorance again?

Spanish, EUROPEAN not Hispanic Mexican. The only ignorant one is you and anyone else who thinks all Spanish people look alike.

bud, you're the only one claiming Gomez is Mexican.

From one of your earlier posts, the author of the characters wanted his Castilian father figure to be called Gomez.

Castillians are European. They are not dark like Hispanic Mexicans. This Gomez Addams is played by a Mexican and is obviously not European.
What Spaniards (not Hispanics) look like.

whose best known role is Zorro, a Mexican?

another Hispanic country
Ohhh and here I was told Puerto Rico is just another part of America.

The creators of Netflix's Wednesday used a great deal of poetic license in making pale Wednesday into a Mexican girl. Why? Because race swapping is tremendously popular right now. They slide it in everywhere they can. It's how Anne Boelyn got to be black. Sign of the times.

Factually, Guy Williams played Zorro and he certainly wasn't Mexican.
From reading the book, Zorro wasn't Mexican at all. He was an aristocrat from Spain.
Don Diego was a native born Californian, he went to school in Spain.

His father, Alejandro, was an aristocrat from Spain.

Really! I do remember it so well. Annette Funicello was the girlfriend.

The reviews of Wednesday were mixed with serious comparisons to the CW. If it gets compared to the CW too much that's a killer. If Wednesday can do more story than gay romance, it should do well and lose the CW hex.
