Term limits for the Supreme Court is a completely different animal. Those are appointments. I'm talking about candidates getting elected to office by voters.

But yes, I do believe there should be term limits there for the SC.

Politicians behave differently when they're worried about fundraising and re-election. To deny that is absurd.

There's nothing special about these people. They are all replaceable. The longer they're in office, the more entrenched their power base is.

A constant flow of new blood and new thinking would be a GOOD thing.

I agree that term limits are needed; I have been saying this for nearly four decades.

I do have my own reasoning for my belief that term limits are needed but my reasoning does not align with your reasoning.

IMO every elected office should have a two term limit, no matter the office.

America needs to take the concept of a career OUT of politics, period.

There should be NO 'career politicians.'

Being a politician is 'public service' but for some reason we have allowed being a politician to become a career & that is just crap.
