Waters calling another out another racist

"Waters, who represents a largely minority district in south Los Angeles, also said the president has to stop compromising with the tea party. “Stand up and fight them,” she said on CNN. “Don’t give in to them. Don’t make deals with them because you are trying to get along.”

In a third interview, on MSNBC, she said members of Congress who were against raising the debt ceiling would have backed down “within 24 hours” rather than face the realities of a government shutdown and default.

“The tea party has shown that they have strength and our constituents are asking us, ‘where’s your fight? Where’s your resolve?’”

She's effectively painted herself into a corner that she cannot with logic or reason get herself out of.

Why would Obama go out of his way to do something for lower class blacks? They'll vote for him NO MATTER WHAT because they'll vote based on race only. And unless Herman Cain runs, Obama has nothing to lose by ignoring them.
