On the civil side YES! But what she did ALSO I think crossed the line into criminal. Inciting a riot IS illegal so how can one LEGALLY permit it in ANY area?

Those three are making Rs out of Ds at a record pace so the opposition would be stupid to interfere with their deconstruction of the main opponents of the Rs and the Ds have not elected a non-incumbent, non-"first" of some sort since 1884 if you count Cleveland's 1893-7 term as a semi-incumbent election.

My own suspicion is the developer was leery of underbribing and went to far the other way. The joke about politicians is that when offered fame and power by the devil in return for their soul they ask what the catch is.
