    President George W. Bush supported the $700-billion Wall Street bailout. That is socialism. He ran and got elected as a REPUBLICAN. Can someone explain how we can trust others on the same media circus (weather left or right)
    And if not, may I suggest you read People VS media and get involved?

    "Big government" is neither intrinsically liberal nor intrinsically socialist, and Bush demonstrated this fact well.

    Wrong on both counts. The essence of libertarianism/conservativism is small government. On the other hand, liberalism is a grab bag of rationalizations for justifying bigger government. Furthermore, socialism and small government are mutually exclusive.
