Warren Becoming Logical Sensible Choice For Pres.

Uhm yeah she lied....good grief LOL
Her mother's grandmother's mother, was native American...

On ancestry, doing my tree for my dad, I am 5 or 6 generations past that on my family search of my great grandfathers.... England, The Netherlands, Ireland....

That's not possible. If her mother's grandmother's mother was native American, that would make Liz 1/16. Go check the actual ratio again, it's CONSIDERABLY lower than 1/16. You'd have to backtrack another 5 or 6 generations to find the culprit, given that she's somewhere in the 1/500-1/1024 range, if I recall correctly.

Ahhh but this is where they choose truth over facts!
She didn't lie, and the Cherokee were intermarrying with whites for generations before the were "removed." It's just more of Trump's "aryan blood" bs. We're all mongrels. The question is why Warren thought it made her "special."

Trump is probably 100% aryan though.
it's funny how the true leftists all shines in here. way to shine. Pocahontas, reparations please.

More like trying to polish a turd

Her wall street ideas are not really that bad. I can see how dem candidates can tack back on the wind over single payer. Say it's the goal , and eventually people with private insurance will buy in, but even dems are not there yet.

She didn't lie, she's not native American DNA (though that's not that rare) And Trump bought his kids way into Wharton.

I think Harris is a little better positioned though. To the left of The Gaffe and to the right of Warren. And she can raise a lot of money. Can she carry a place like Ohio or even Wisc?
The woman who puts marijuana offenders away is the woman the left would want for president? You guys are going to lose again

Fair enough, so her great great great grandmother was a half or quarter Cherokee maybe. So this makes Warren Native American how exactly? there is a reason the tribes themselves rejected her. It would have perfectly fine for her to say that she has native american blood and no one would question that.

So wait. . . Look at that State Bar of Texas registration. She wasn't going around presenting herself as being of mixed heritage. She was presenting herself as American Indian. With one such ancestor a distance back in a sea of European faces. You might make the legal argument that doing so isn't an outright lie, but I don't see how you could call it anything but dishonest.

This week, economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin said, “Democrats are not talking about the economy, because they have nothing to say.”

In 2019, the economy is great. The U.S. labor market has added more than 6.3 million new jobs since President Donald J. Trump was elected. In fact, there continue to be more jobs open in America than there are people looking for work. Unemployment is the lowest it has been since the end of 1969. And the unemployment rate for African-Americans, Hispanics, people with disabilities and military veterans is the lowest ever recorded for each category.

Pocahontas cannot beat Trump in such an environment!

Warren certainly shows that she has the temperament to lie blithely.

Elizabeth Warren & Kamala Lied about Ferguson & Michael Brown | National Review
When Trumper's whine and complain like suffering snowflakes about anyone allegedly lying one must laugh. In any case, the linked article is by a right-wing source, biased and ignores the difference between factual accounts and opinions, acceptance of a police report and not accepting one.
Actually you are wrong it demonstrates that warren lies as much and as poorly as trump is accused of lying making her no decent choice as president.

It is not opinion it is FACT that the evidence proves Brown was not murdered but was shot in self defense. Warren's lie about Wilson is as vile and ugly as trumps statements about the central park five.
Senator Elizabeth is becoming the logical and sensible choice for becoming the Democratic nominee for President. She has the experience, patience, emotional stability and temperament for the makings of a decent and acceptable President.
Of course, this will probably become a Warren bashing and demonizing thread. It's not meant to be a pro-Warren or Warren endorsement thread, but merely, but USMB posters are predictable.

While I am not here to "bash" Warren per se, one must examine her false claims of socially viable or meaningful Native American ancestry, both in the context of the left's own political correctness cult, which must demand her disqualification for cultural appropriation according to its own tenets, and in examining how she could possibly discharge duties of the office of POTUS with a record of falsifying her own genetic heritage. This matter alone is or rather should be grounds for immediate disqualification. Ultimately, should she win the nomination, she will never survive our man Trump's strategic ridicule. What an entertaining spectacle that could be. Many wampum for your thoughts . . .

You're serious, right?

She believed her family's "tradition" that they had a Cherokee ancestor somewhere way back and being an amateur genealogist myself, I can certainly believe that. People do. Being a politician, she took advantage of it, too, but to say she was "lying" about it is wrong.
Then she did the honest thing and had a DNA test and it showed that she DID have N.A. ancestry 6-10 generations ago and family members told the story they had also grown up with.
Yet she is still "lying" because you don't want a Dem in the White House.

I would need to research her more to say whether or not I like her, but if all you got is that Cherokee thing? Warren could very well win.

Actually, Tulsi Gabbard is looking quite good.

"
a huge majority of Americans received a tax cut. According to the Tax Policy Center, 82 percent of middle-class earners received a tax cut averaging around $1,050. Despite Nancy Pelosi’s comments that the tax cuts were crumbs, a thousand dollars more in take-home pay is a big deal for most families in our country.

Facts show that middle-class taxpayers were the big winners in the tax-cut plan signed by Mr. Trump. Democrats, however, did a good job of selling a false narrative. Sadly, most Americans now believe that they did not receive a reduction in their tax bill.

Despite the negative rhetoric, the individual income tax cuts that increased take-home pay and the business tax cuts that encouraged employers to provide bonuses have helped to improve the nation’s economy. Throw in affirmative efforts to undo excessive regulations — particularly in energy — and you have a recipe for strong economic growth in the years to come.

In contrast, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts Democrat, recently warned that an economic crisis will soon hit the United States. Maybe she has a crystal ball and can see into the future to a day when she or one of the other radical socialists is elected president. That would most certainly be a reason for concern.

Ms. Warren, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Vermont independent, and the rest of the socialists running for president continue to embrace a system that is currently failing in Venezuela. Socialism promises prosperity but more often leads to poverty. The once prosperous country is now filled with despair. Sadly, more than 9 out of every 10 Venezuelans now live in poverty.

If the 2020 presidential election is about pocketbook issues, logic suggests that Mr. Trump should win in a landslide. That explains why Democrats don’t want to talk about the economy.

Unfortunately, most media outlets are complicit with the Democrats. Not only do they forcibly avoid talking about the strong economy, they consistently get the facts wrong."

Not if gr-gr grandmother was only part Native American. There was some white, as well as black, mixing. I saw a genealogy of Warren's and that individual was listed in one place as Native and in another as White. Half breed? It was enough to put you in the "Injun" basket back then, same as now.

No one takes your type of swill seriously. You're a waste of space.

The racist "Pocahontas" name-calling is not going to work and comparing an alleged misrepresentation of her heritage does not compare to the thousands of provable lies told by Trump.

Terri4Trump is a cowardly sock puppet who probably destroyed any semblance of credibility in the last handle used. Doing the same with the new one.

Couldn't have been a half breed, either. That would put Warren at 1/32. I just checked the report, and I do stand corrected on my prior post. Apparently she's between 1/64th and 1/1024th. That puts mother's grandmother's mother between 1/4 and 1/64. Simple powers of two here, try to keep track.

Also, what puts you in the "injun" basket, these days, as many members of the Cherokee nation explained in the wake of the DNA test fiasco, is actually being a part of a native American community. Sharing their experiences. Pointing to a distant ancestor only puts you in the "injun" basket insofar as it allows you to claim it on college and job applications and potentially benefit from AA admissions/hiring policies.

The problem with putting Warren in the liar basket over her claim of a distant Native American heritage is that no matter how small, DNA tests prove some validity to her claim. Hence, the argument is not if she has Native American ancestry, but how much. In addition, many Americans claim heritage they can not easily prove. We live in a day and age when anyone can have their ancestry researched and often find shocking results. We see examples in news reports and TV commercials all the time.
Any attempts to make an issue of Warren lying will give her and her supporters' reason for making Trump's endless history of being a prolific compulsive serial malicious habitual liar far more serious than Warren's at best, Warren will be accused of exaggerating. Dem's will be looking for excuses for slamming Trump for his endless lies.

Warren's cred is on tax and social policy issues and the verdict is in .. again.. on the failure of the Trump tax cuts.

Trump Gave Most Americans a Tax Cut and They Didn't Notice

The red states will vote red regardless on guns, bortion, and Mexicans taking our unspecified shit, but Farmers are taking it up the poop shoot for Trump and on policy Trump's lost the "populist" economics label. From a farmers point of view, the next time the dems have the WH and both houses, they may do a SALT taxes on farm aid.

I still don't understand why Warren made her heritage an issue (I don't understand the sons and daughters of the confederacy either). And I think it's unlikely she can flip ohio or iowa and maybe not even carry Wisc.

I don't disagree with you, and when I said "half breed" I wasn't necessarily being literal. Yes, gr-gr-gram could have been a quarter Native, which would prove Liz wasn't lying at all. It depends on how you look at it. I already get it that you don't approve of her.

But considering that we are talking about her in comparison to Trump, who kicked off his Presidency by bold face lying about the size of the crowd at his Inauguration and has not stopped bullshitting us since, I'd take Warren if this is all you've got. Even if you had more, it's hard to beat "Grab 'em by the pussy."

Given Trump's lie is proven, who really cares beyond the 40% who will vote for him even if he declares a 'final solution' for illegal immigrants?

Rather, I think Harris' image issues go more to "moonbat liberal" … fair or not.

No no no. . . Elizabeth Warren didn't just claim she had a distant native American ancestor. Check that Texas State Bar registration again. She presents HERSELF as American Indian. Even with what she knew of her ancestry, mostly white would have been a monumental understatement, and nothing about her upbringing was the Native American experience. Again, you might have breathing room in a court of law about whether or not that was an outright lie, but it was certainly dishonest.

under Pocahontas, unions will rebuild america's middle class!
