War On Women Big Fail

What is the war on women in America?

The War on Women predates Obama. Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. Further, Obama is not up for reelection and the Republicans still don't have a plan and since they are the ones that are a part of the problem then it doesn't look good for them either.

It is an imaginary idea dreamed up by liberals.

No.

Because you say so.

No. That's kinda your gig. You pretend they don't.

No point in listening to someone who has to attack the poster, in order to feel they are correct. For the record, I support one women's organization and two children's organizations annually.

Okie dokie.

Be specific. What is the war on women? I'm serious answer the fucking question.

The war on women I see is the one on conservative women Rush Limbaugh makes his slut comment about Sandra Fluke which I am not defending by the way and the media and NOW go crazy calling for boycotts and demanding Limbaugh be fired. Far far worse things have been said about Sarah Palin over they years and nary a peep from these same people or you get some cheap attempt to justify the comments about Palin. This is not about liking or agreeing with either woman it's about how they get treated and the reaction or lack of one to it if you truly believe there is a war on women and truly oppose it then you have to support all women when they are treated unfairly not just those who share your political viewpoints.

Actually, I read the comments regarding Fluke being a slut. It wasn't just the usual name calling because he disagreed. It was because Fluke made some outrageous claims about how much she spent on birth control. Some expert crunched the numbers, allowing for the expensive birth control pills. She would have had to also buy condoms to reach the amount she claimed. It came down to her having sex a lot to use all them. Since no man can perform that many times a day or whatever, you would guess there were many. Anyway, it was the claim she made that caused Rush to say she must be a slut. Unless she was a prostitute or porn star.

Palin got called names because some disagreed with her on other issues. That made them cheap shots. She's been criticized for her hair, for having a baby. Some wished horrible things to happen to her and her children. That is a war on women. With Fluke, it was a challenge to back up her claims of what her birth control budget was.

Fluke bought it on herself with her own claims of how much she spent on contraceptives.

YOUNG Obama s teetering presidency - Washington Times

I have to say this surprises me. Women are smarter than I thought. ;)

It could be that they are now already stumping for Hillary who is desperately trying to distance herself from Obama.

What say you....

The "War on women" if you and Fox News want to call it that started in the Bible. Eve ate an apple and by the, after then, Men were to rule the Earth. Also all women were going to have labor pains, even though Adam took a bite too. So all women now will have labor pains throughout history because of one.

The old Testement also tells us women should not be allowed to talk in Church. <-------------

Our society is more primitive than we think and our bigotry hand-me-downs are in plain sight.

So ladies, if a snake talks to you and tells you to eat an apple don't. Also, if you feel the need to wear clothing then you are just ashamed your ancestor Eve ate an apple.

As a woman, I'm much more annoyed at being reduced to my vagina and ovaries (the left) than being called mean names (both sides, although not me, personally). My issues ARE NOT contraceptives and abortion, both of which I can decide for myself and pay for myself if I deem necessary. My issues are the economy, jobs, foreign policy, education and immigration.

No one is conducting a war on me. I can take care of myself. Can we get back to the business of the country, please, and not my panties?

WELL..........you can only "decide for yourself" because of one party....

Your focus is correct and it should be that way.

I'm pretty sure Biden is a drunk and I don't blame him. I mean losing your family is a valid reason to be driven to the bottle. however it makes for a lousy president.

Say wot you will. Facts remain:

1. Democrats are highly unlikely to pause their war on women and nominate Her Thighness.

2. It's Joe Biden's turn.

Biden is a teetotaler.

You got to the core of the issue. Dems have reduced women to sexual organs. Truth is, if the jobs were out there and the economy was good, everyone could take care of themselves with few problems. Well, except for those who have bought into the notion that they are helpless victims who need nanny government.

I find it insulting that Dems think women can't take care of themselves. If someone suggests that they can, the Dems call it a war on women. Women have choices and no one is stopping them from doing what they feel is in their best interest. Dems think women need someone to pay their way, from cradle to grave, or we can't possibly survive in this man's world.

I'm sure we'll keep hearing about the war on women as Hillary runs for president. And the voters will be asked to vote for her to ensure that her rights as a woman are respected. If she loses, the left will say that America hates women. When her opponents disagree with her, like they have all the white males in the past, the left will claim it's because she's a woman. We've had the same twisted logic from the left whenever someone disagreed with Obama. Never mind that past liberal presidents had the exact same criticism, suddenly it's about race or gender.

The way equally works is to treat everyone equally. The two parties have always gone to battle on the issues, but suddenly we're supposed to handle some people with kid gloves. It's like they think that women and minorities aren't tough enough to be treated the same as white males. The left acts like whites, especially white males, are tougher, smarter and more capable of doing things. If you believed liberals, you'd think that women are fragile and need coddling and minorities are too stupid to get an ID, let alone survive on their own.

Should Secretary Clinton choose to run, and win the DNC nomination, she will surpass the numbers of Mr. Obama. What is important to understand is that not all of these states were won by Obama...AZ and NC. Further, the margin Hillary has in the firewall of MN, WI, IL, MI, OH, PA, were states where Obama and Hillary had double digit margins with women.

Can't wait for 2016.

The conservative attack on a woman's right to choose. This is a strictly conservative/GOP action that has made it harder and harder for women to exercise their constitutional right to make healthcare choices.

LIMBAUGH: What does it say about the college coed Susan Fluke [sic], who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex? What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex.

She's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We're the pimps.

The johns, that's right. We would be the johns -- no! We're not the johns. Well -- yeah, that's right. Pimp's not the right word.

“It seems to me, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare,” Akin told KTVI-TV. “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let’s assume that maybe that didn’t work or something: I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be of the rapist, and not attacking the child.”

“Men do tend to talk about things on a much higher level,” Ellmers said. “Many of my male colleagues, when they go to the House floor, you know, they’ve got some pie chart or graph behind them and they’re talking about trillions of dollars and how, you know, the debt is awful and, you know, we all agree with that.

“We need our male colleagues to understand that if you can bring it down to a woman’s level and what everything that she is balancing in her life — that’s the way to go,” Ellmers said.

Excellent write up candy!

With ACA a law, women get free birth control

If I wanted something bad enough, I'd travel as far as I needed to in order to get it.

There's a tiny hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant in SLC.
I've travelled to, or made sure I travelled through, SLC just to get their awesome sweet corn tamales. You must get there early in the morning because they sell out fast!

Ok so I've read several good examples of "the war on women." and I see what liberals believe.

So not providing birth control and abortion is a war on women.

Bringing up bible text is nonsense since we now live in modern times.
I believe it is a propaganda tool used to intimidate young women into voting democrat.

However in none of the liberal arguments did you mention bill Clinton and his appalling abuse of a young impressionable intern.

She was allowed to give him blow jobs but nothing else.

This to me speaks to the heart of what liberals are all about. Sex. Sexy sexy sex.

I hate abortion but I understand why women want the right to have one.

After all, we are the ones in control. Women. That's right.

Liberals bash Christian beliefs but they never mention the horrible treatment of women in other religions.

Muslim women in this country must wear a scarf over their head. And I've seen pictures of liberal women wearing scarves when they visit Muslim countries. Why do they wear the scarf?

Reproductive health has to do with reproductive organs. It includes perimenopause, menopause-all stages of life. When the right wing started lying about Planned Parenthood, they neglected to include the number of men that are treated for STDs there. They neglected to include that birth control is used for more than birth control--like regulation of hormones.

Nobody mentions anything to do with Bill Clinton because he had a consensual relationship. In the same way we don't mention Newt Gingrich's shoddy treatment of his wife and extramarital affairs. Not relevant. Further more, wearing a head scarf in this country is not mandatory. Not relevant.

Seems to me that it is the right wing that is focused on sex.
