Walkers Speech was very good, and very clear. Let the layoffs begin.

And they can turn around and repeal the law after they retake the majority in 2012. So really, Walker is threatening to lay people off over a petty little game he wants to play.

Funny, but you now sound just like Conservatives who opposed Obamacare.....:clap2:

The bottom line is that the States are broke and they cannot continue with unsustainable programs- they cannot print money and bonds ultimately come due. Someone has to say NO MORE!!! Walker is that man- he has the courage to get it done and done it will be.

You shouldn't be upset with Walker, you should be upset with his predeccesor who left him with a gigantic hole.

It is sad, but these 14 ignorant Democrat Senators are causing "real" people to lose their jobs.
People who have families and children. All they have to do is come back and do their jobs and it could all be avoided.

Obviously they care more about paying back the Union leadership that helped get them elected, than representing the people of Wisconsin. Pretty sad state of affairs in Cheese-head land......
The statewide euphoria of a well deserved Super Bowl victory is being tainted by a bunch o' crooked politicians, greedy unions, and equally greedy union members......Sad Really!

And lets not forget those children whose RIGHTS to an education were stepped on by greedy teachers who abandoned their classrooms, and caused thousands of parents to suffer financial hardship, in already difficult financial times for
them, because they had no choice but to take off work at a loss of pay to
ensure their children were being properly cared for, and not out running amok
because those teachers were more concerned about themselves.

Yeah. Those greedy teachers. I mean how dare they even think about getting paid. I mean don't you know that 50 grand a year buys you a Mercedes, a mansion and gold bricks mother F'er. GOLD BRICKS. I mean for real teachers make bank, they make it rain.

Shit man, good thing I have these republicans to tell me 50k for a 15 year experienced teacher is so rich. Shit, I gonna buy me some cristal with my Mac and cheese and ramen noodles tonight.

Just so we are clear, you have no clue what the who WI issue is about.

"Right to work." Opt out of the Union, nothing more, nothing less.

Unless one of the runaways walks into the Capitol in the next 5 minutes, it sounds to me like the pink slips go out first thing in the morning.

It is a shame that 14 overtly corrupt politicians have put the lives and livelihoods of every public employee, as well as their families, in queue BEHIND the special interests that grease their palms. Shame on each of them!

They deserve the fates they have chosen.

So the Public Workers move from productive jobs to vacation time and unemployment checks. They will get what they deserve for 52 weeks or more.

This issue is much like the Illegal immigration issue... The longer the Senators let people think about what’s going on the more people will learn. The more people that become educated about what’s happening the less support the Dems and Unions will have.

Hint: this has NOTHING to do with group bargaining being done away with, nothing...

As long as they don't find other work, yes, they will.

And guess what?

The State can afford that. Its been factored in.

no thats not how the game is played. You make the accusation, you need to back it up.
Because if the roles where reversed you would want me to prove it that way as well.

I know how people like you and mini like to work.

Link it or shut the fuck up.

You want a link for an opinion?

Google is your friend.

i want a link showing these guys are corrupt for leaving.
I want a link showing that special interests are the reason they walked out.

Nobody seems to be able to.

As stupid as the OP is, he did get one thing right. The 14 Dems did walk out because of special interests - the special interests who lined the pockets of Walker, that is. Koch Bros anyone?

BTW, if you silly cons think Wisconsin voters are happy with Walker, you have another thing coming. Walker is losing support big time. I suspect that as soon as it's legally possible, a recall campaign will be started against him.

And for many, 52 weeks later they will for the first time in their life think like a conservative. All of a sudden a Budget will become the most important thing in their life.

check it out folks, the workings of a lefty mind.
If you can't rip off the taxpayers one way, just do it another way.

Polk,

Bottom line is they are ALL going to come back before the 30 days.

At which time the Speaker will call for the vote.

At which time the Democrats will be registered as either "Present" or "Opposed."

At which time they will lose the vote.

At which time collective bargaining is dead for the public union.

They have already lost the war, they are merely posturing now to try and salvage what they can of the union support.

But even the union knows it is over.

They just haven't told the members.

How naive, you think this is the end of things.

As Sir Winston Churchill once said: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

Hmm, I think the more people know, the more they will favor Dems and Unions, because retards always distort the truth.:eusa_angel:

Do you support the monopoly the Union has, that people cannot opt in or out of the Union based on liking what that Union has to offer?

The Unions don't have a monopoly. You're missing the point of my post anyway.

And the issue is giving people the option to opt out of that Union... Say it, say the words so I at least know you heard them, please....

There is no Union busting happening, none, zero, zadda...

I don't think it's over at all. Where did I say that?

I think the fight for collective bargaining is over, but I've been around unions enough to know they will not simply throw up their hands and say "oh well."

They will fight like hell, but this war was lost before the Dems fled the State.

Why do you think they fled the State?

Opinions are on the side of Democrats and unions. There goes your theory.

Hint: this has NOTHING to do with group bargaining being done away with, nothing...

Hint: it has everything to do with collective bargaining being done away with. The unions already agreed to the cuts proposed b y Walker. He refuses to play ball. It's all or nothing for Walker. Obviously, union busting is his main goal.

The Unions don't have a monopoly. You're missing the point of my post anyway.

It was just a question to see where you stand on the issue as I have not seen anything from you, not saying you have not been vocal.

It is a monopoly because the employee has no choice to leave or join. SO the entire issue is about giving that freedom to the employees, nothing more, NOTHING MORE...

You said the war was over. This is not the war, in fact it is only a battle in the war.
