It’s also interesting to note that among households with children in the public school system, only 32% approve of the governor’s performance.

....the governor is struggling in the court of public opinion in his dispute with the state’s public employee unions.

President Obama is viewed favorably by 55% of voters statewide. Typically, a president’s reelection vote total is similar to his job approval rating. Therefore, if the election were held today in Wisconsin, Obama would be heavily favored to win the state’s Electoral College votes.

I'm having fun watching this. I sorta doubt all the disgruntled seniors and frightened workers, voted to curb abortion rights, break the backs of public unions, impeach Obama and shut the government down. The wanted jobs and to roll back President Obama's plan to cut 500 billion from Medicare.

They got more then then bargained for when they voted in the radicals. It's a hoot to see it unfold.

New York is not in a "sinking boat", well New York City isn't anyway. It's actually doing very well. The rest of the state is a basketcase. That's because they cut taxes. And now they want more from the city..

Friend, you have NO fucking clue WTF you are talking about:

1) in NYC, ONE percent of the population pays for over half the taxes, if that 1% moves, THERE IS NO NYC.

2) over 50% of the NYC budget goes to welfare and public employee union salaries and benefits.

3) the debt load on the MTA is massive, and growing - with no other funding options to choose from.

4) businesses and the wealthy are fleeing NYC in droves - there is no industry left other than wall street - and they keep moving people out of NYC, almost every day to NJ or other states. There are few industries left save media and the arts, which pay nowhere near what manufacturing jobs did years ago. Nail salons, Duane Reade and ATMs on every corner is not a foundation on which a healthy city can survive.

5) over 2 MILLION people have left NYS in the last 10 years, and guess who is replacing them? The poor and illegal aliens - now THERE'S a surefire way to drive the state into the ground. WTF do you THINK are leaving, besides income producers like me taking our businesses out of the city/state?

6) with obscenely generous public employee salaries and benefits - and their scum of the fucking earth enablers like sheldon "thief" silver providing them with ever higher benefits, the state's deficit of $11 billion will only get worse over time.

Do some research before proving what an idiot looks and sounds like.
