BP Oil Spill: Where Did All The Crude Go? Mother Nature Breaks Down Slick in Gulf of Mexico - ABC News I thought the gulf was covered in 3 feet thick of oil or something. Where's it going? Why are they having such a hard time finding the oil now? I don't trust the source, so either one of two things is going on here. 1. The environment is better than we are for cleaning up oilspills and has done the best possible job breaking down the slicks so the krill and plankton can eat it and clean it up faster than we ever could dream... and thereby debunking all the econazi's threat inflation in a relatively short term. 2. It's an effort to minimize the political damage done to the incompetent or saboteur administration who fucked up the clean up effort and this oil's going to resurface later or be an even bigger problem. It could be that both are true, of course, but considering the source, no matter the truth, it's been slanted pro Green and P-BO.
